^^ He needs to lose some muscle mass then cause 155 is not for him, he struggled to be a top 10 in that division, 155 is a murders row of competitors. He beats gilbert melendes & has tough striking matchups vs ceronne/pettis & i'm not sure how he beats; bendo, dos anjos, khabib & michael johnson. Too much tough matchups for him, guys are actually bigger than he is as well & he'd need to put on size to matchup better.

I'm sure the plan is to beat Aldo and defend once or twice, then move up for a super fight title shot.

cutting weight isn't going to get any easier for him tho

probably gonna have to beat him twice unless he dgaf and wants to hold the two belts at the same time before giving up the 145 one (he gets a straight 155 title shot 100% of the time whenever he wants it if hes 145 champ)

If the weight cut isn't as big of an issue as I'm assuming it's going to be he'll stay at 145 until the huge paycheck fights dry up and then super fight 155

Aldo was gonna move up to fight Pettis last year. Would be funny if both fighters said **** it, and fought at 155

He'd have to vacate the 145 belt in this scenario, unless youre talking about the interim belt

Aldo is too worried about dodging drug tests to fight at any weight

Btw, if anybody is on the juice it's dos anjos. What he did vs pettis was so surprising & so scary, dude looked like the best fighter in the ufc on that night tbh, probably the best performance i ever seen in my life. He made pettis look slow, every shot landed echoed around the arena & take down after takedown & such good conditioning, dude the scariest figther i ever seen yet vs a really really good fighter in pettis who's in his prime. I love Mcgregor but unless really stringent testing is involved he should run from dos anjos@155, no way he wasn't on the juice ofr that fight.

have you listened to the Joe Rogan podcast with Nick Curson? Pretty interesting and had me somewhat convinced that Dos Anjos didn't juice

Well, i'm not at all convinced he didn't juice but it gave some explanations of what made him so fast and what improved his stamina. I still think he was probably juiced up but I'm sure that training helped him get to the next level clean or not.

I watched that in full & bro i still don't believe that he revamped himself so much in such a short time. You don't think anybody else in the ufc isn't training more pylometrics?, this is the fight game & lighter weight fighters are probably all doing it, maybe not the same things dos anjos is doing but for sure different variations of it. Pettis is lighter than dos anjos & generally one of the quickest n move explosive 155lbers n dos anjos legit made him look slow, beat him to every punch/kick & when dos anjos actually traded with pettis i was shocked n surprised at how much better he looked. He was 100% on the juice for that fight, nobody can convince me otherwise.

Let's not forget dos anjos was injured as well while pettis was 100% healthy n still made him look so bad.

I will say in Curson's defense he sounded pretty convincing and he used to work with Marinovich who got BJ in the best shape of his life.

This and the fight was in Texas where they only tested urine day of and the fighters knew this ahead of time. #Priderules

Couldn't agree more. The guy was drugged up to the skyballs for that fight and the camp leading up to it. Nothing will ever convince me otherwise.

def.

funny thing is khabib dominated dos anjos by staying glued to him. got in a few nicely timed elbows and did not let go.

but I've never seen such domination as that pettisVdosanjos match, he literally broke his face 40seconds into the fight. Besides getting the finish you couldn't of asked for a more dominating win.

right now dos anjos looks like he is 190-200lbs. if he plans to fight cerrone in december he needs to get to work now.

OMG he will kill Cerrone.

I guess he would be about 1.6? I would snap that. To me he is a 1.2 v Cerrone.

I would also disagree that Henderson is still a top guy @ 155. He is no longer top 5 imo.

Dos Anjos, Pettis & Khabib look like the top dogs.
