I was traveling yesterday so I didn’t get to see the Padres eliminate the Dodgers, which makes me very sad. We’ve spent SO many years watching LA piss all over us that this series win is extra sweet, especially so after they were such a heavy favorite and runaway success in the regular season.

Never thought that none of the Mets, Braves, Dodgers would even make it to the NLCS. The upcoming series is tough to figure. The Pads just spent an exhausting two series that felt like they only won by playing absolutely perfectly, and having the Dodgers go limp on offense (of course SD pitching had a lot to do with that). Can that continue for another 7 game series? At the same time Philly seems to be firing on all cylinders at just the right time.
