It's actually funny how people who have watched baseball forever actually still think "team A can never beat team B" in a series. Mandred is probably shocked that the Dodgers who were about a 2-1 favorite over the Padres before the series started,lost as though it was some massive upset.

It has been an usual year so far in that underdogs have won almost every series,but when you add 19 wild cards to the playoffs and keep watering down the regular season some years that's gonna happen. Ten years from now half the league will make the playoffs,the division series will still be best of 5 and the regular season will still be 162 games.
