Not to mention the play that won the game was brilliant.

They kept doing that WR motion and Troy kept crashing the line. The ran every single time.

This time Troy crashed the line and they owned them. Demaryius got over the top and it allowed him to score.

His game plans have been really good.

Next week will be interesting because NE won't do that.. they don't allow that big play. He'll need to adjust and run more and exploit the underneath stuff more.. then it comes down to actually scoring in the red zone.

Missing Ryan Clark was a big deal for the Steelers and possibly made the difference here. Hard to argue God didn't set that one up in advance imo.

Yeah, it was brilliant to save a decent attempt to mix up on 1st down play until the 5th qtr.

fwiw I've noticed over the years that setting up plays and abusing Polamalu's hyper-aggressiveness has been a theme of several coaches who pay attention to game film. It used to be playing with fire back when he still had his crazy hyper-acceleration, but now that he's old it's practically a freeroll.

Oh, he never will go public. As long as he can sublimate his homosexuality into an intense attraction to Jesus, he can have a built-in excuse for not wanting to have sex with women. And since many people want to believe in a hyper-religious do-gooder, no one will ever call him out on it.

(note: I have no idea as to Tim Tebow's actual sexual orientation, but nothing would surprise me, and he's got a great cover if he is in the closet and wants to stay there. Assuming he even knows he is.)

Nah, I think Tebow got laid last night which is why he didn't seem as nervous and finally threw for so many yards.

I wish I saved the NFL Network replay of the Chicago game. Tebow went up to Von Miller when they need a stop in OT, right before the D took the field, and gave him these weird googly eyes. Tebow just said "I love you man, and I'm really proud of you" but kept staring at Von intently and making penetrating eye contact. Basically he was telling Von he needed to go out and make a play, but saying it with deep eye contact instead of words.

It was one of those "is this really cool or is this really gay?" moments. I decided cool but I could be convinced gay pretty easily.

That might explain the first quarter. He was still working out the soreness in his ass.

The point is, those two things would have been pretty clutch.

Hitting a dude on a slant route and then watching him run 65 yards to score isn't.

Doing what he did today was impressive. Clearly it was his best game to date.

But when it came time to lead his team down the field to score to win the game, he failed, just like he did last week against the Chiefs. And you want to pimp how clutch he is? Like Jordan?!

It's ridiculous.

In the "mic'd up" video, I had the same thought when they showed him talking to his coordinator he had like this buzzed/hazy look in his eyes and just stared at guy, I thought it was him just not caring they were losing.

You are taking this **** way too seriously.

But ok. Do you think Montana never failed in a late game drive with the game tied? Or Jordan made every clutch shot he ever took? Tebow made one bad throw in that drive, and we know his skill level is such that he could be making tons of bad throws. And you want to use that one throw as evidence that he's not clutch, while throwing out all the other amazing accurate (for him) throws that he made when he absolutely had to tonight?

ok

If Matt Cassel hit one the receiver in stride one in 10 times in that pressure spot I'd be amazed. Cassel doesn't hit them in stride normally. Then he gets worse under pressure. That's the whole point I'm trying to make. Very few athletes actually seem to rise to the occasion and play their best, even above their heads, under pressure.
