here's what you don't understand about those facemask non-calls - the Broncos were obviously holding the linebackers in a way that incidentally grabbing the facemask was the only option. in fact the Steelers got screwed there. they missed holding on the Broncos

I think it was just a really confusing game to everyone. Tebow had three HUGE passes, including a gigantic 80-yard game-ending TD pass in OT, so the Tebow lovers say it was all him. But he also played like crap most of the rest of the game, including blowing a couple throws in the last drive of regulation, so the Tebow haters hang their hats on that.

Game got a 25.9 rating, which is just ridiculous. What could the other half of America possibly have been doing?

So anyone else think this is the worst first two rounds ever (at least in terms of anticipation, not actual drama)? Cincy-Houston, Atl-NYG, Pit-Denver, Denver-NE, Hou-Balt are just all vomit. Both weeks the Saints game is the only one I'm building my weekend around. NYG-GB I guess has some potential.

its all a part of the Timmy Tebow experience though. like he'd make some awesome plays with his feet, avoiding a sack and scrambling a bit, then he'd miss a guy who was wide open. these are throws that would have been completions if they were even remotely accurate. during the offseason he really needs to work on throwing while on the move, b/c if he actually plants his feet he's not horrible. that said if Tebow wasn't so bad of a passer the Steelers probably wouldn't have stacked the line, which is what ended up killing them.

the first long pass to DT and the TD to royal were both such beautiful throws.

i think its unfair to say he played like crap apart from the long bombs, his runs kept the 1st down marker moving all game and the defense was obv sacrificing deep cover for pressure on shallow routes so its no surprise the checkdowns & stuff were not effective.

obv he had a couple of calamitous throws but not enough to say he played like crap at any point.
