whichever wild card team gets the Texans in the playoffs is getting a big gift.

Butnahhh, depth is over-rated. Praying is a strategy.

Palko pulling out a win tonight over Pittsburgh would have been nice.

I'd be very surprised if Bob Kravitz truly believed 50% of the stuff that he writes.

The guy is actually pretty accessible so with the right tone I doubt it's that hard to really find out. I'm sure part of it is just to grab attention, but he seems to toe a similar line in most of his stuff.

Re-ship sage!

The Vikings still owe Donovan ~2mm, although I doubt Kubiak would be into that sort of thing.

lost in all this is how bad Blaine Gabbert is, how MJD is wasting away in JAX, and how good the HOU defense was on 95% of plays yesterday.

I'd be interested to see if JAX gained a single yard on plays where MJD was not on the field.

So true, RE: Gabbert.

He's last year's Clausen and next year's Landry Jones.

Gabbart looked worse yesterday than I thought he did in their first meeting. Even the announcers began making fun of him. But damn when you have 2 rushers on you from a 3-man rush that's pretty ****ed up. Give our D a ton of credit for yesterday. Can't imagine what it must be like for a rookie QB on that ****hole team up against that rush all day. Wanna get away? Oh let's not forget idiot Marcedes Lewis dropping a perfect wide open pass in the end zone. I hope Blaine yelled "Whoa there, mother****er!" at him in the next huddle.

He reminded me a lot of 2005 David Carr. Scared to throw, scared to run, just waiting to get pounded. A broken man. What the hell happened to Britton? Guy Whimper sucks AIDS.

Houston D only gave up 6 points yesterday. Connor Barwin with 4 sacks. I was really excited to see him last year but he went on IR in the first game. I didn't think he would be this good though!

This defense is set to be really good for a long time. Cushing and Barwin are in their 3rd year and Watt and Reed are rookies. Giggity.

Love the OLB's. Geeg Mario.

I felt for Gabbert a bit yesterday, but not dropping your eye level when the rush is in your face is a skill that is innate, and I would argue one that you cannot develop to a meaningful level.

I'm going to love this defense as long as we don't have some noob DC. Wadeaments.

Gotta get some value out of Mario. It's impossible to trade in the NFL and we franchised the mother****er, but damnit find a way to give him to a 4-3 team and pick someone up for his busted ass.

Jaguars sold today. catnation says that at noon they will be announcing this. Also, rumors that Jaguars looking to get out of their lease at Everbank Field.

It looks like its been fun. I had a good decade run of enjoying the NFL. Worry about high school and college now.

Gabbert won't be the next coach's choice. Have to assume RG3 or landry Jones falls to Jacksonville in the draft. LOLGene won't have a choice but to grab a new QB just to watch that one fail.

God this is depressing.

God dammit if they up and move to the West coast. I'm already sufficiently pissed that the Astros are moving to the lamest division in all of baseball, the AL West and will play like 30 night games starting at 9:05 or later.

They should move to San Antonio!

I remember reading the realignment thing a few years ago. They'd have no choice but to realign. I think the LA team moves to the NFC and the Rams would go to the AFCS or something similar to that situation.

Will be interesting to follow the Jaguares situation.

On a different note, Colts fire DC Larry Coyer, LBs coach Mike Murphy (who?) takes over.

Can they just fire Caldwell and make Peyton HC/QB? (Has that even ever happened in football? It's happened a few times in soccer.)

Awesome work scapegoating the DC here. Of all the coaches, his job should've been the most secure.
