fake news. anyone with half a brain has always known opioids are dangerous. heroin has been a big thing since the 20s. the ****ing Brits fought multiple wars to keep entire countries hooked on them.

most doctors do indeed suck, just like most people.

We have a massive opioid problem largely bc doctors were over prescribing them as the drug companies lined their pockets to do so
That **** didn't happen in the 20s

That **** did happen in the 20s, you use to be able to get straight up morphine with a prescription. You never read Long Day's Journey into Night?

That being said comparing doctors over prescribing opioids, realizing that you have an addictive personality and not taking them isn’t the same thing as not taking a vaccine and it’s hysterical to try to compare the two.

I wasn't the one making the comparison
I was just responding to the poster saying we knew how bad they were in the 20s
Doctors were giving them out like they were nothing until a few years ago in large part bc of pharmacitical kickbacks
This country has a huge opioid problem and it comes from that not what happened in 20s

To be clear I don't think that has anything to do w the vaccines

Im saying you dont need to do research to understand opioids are ****ing dangerous. we all watched The Wire.

maybe some people said they were harmless. those people were stupid or corrupt.

maybe doctors said they were harmless. those doctors suck

maybe some people said he was crazy for turning them down. proly bc they make you feel ****ing good and most people like to feel good.

More likely no one has mentioned it because people are beginning to realize that despite his qb skills he is an ignorant whiny little *****.

Sounds like vaccinated LeBron is the latest super rare breakthrough case. I think more athletes have had covid than not at this point. Hope he fares better than Embiid

Covid"Health and safety" protocols, according to ESPN.

It's almost as if they can't wear masks, keep 6' apart from one another, and avoid breathing upon each other. And that's just on the job. Bad luck.

eta: Oh, wait! And James isn't even confirmed to have tested positive? LOL

Here is the ESPN article:

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...angeles-lakers

Not one mention of him testing positive for, or contracting, Covid-19.

You are an old man. Go get your vaccine. You don't have any right to tell a young and healthy Aaron Rodgers what he should or shouldn't do with his body.

I've got mine. I'm not telling him what he should or shouldn't do; just mocking him endlessly for his decisions and ignorance.

Dude is Aaron Rodgers. You're some average old nobody. Who is mocking who?

So what's the point of the shot? And why are we letting vaccinated people run around maskless all over the country?

eta: No that's why I said "sounds like" as LeBron is in "Health and Safety protocols" and "it is expected that James will miss several games, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski" Why would he miss several games if he wasn't positive? Also seems easy for Vogel to say he has no symptoms when asked about LeBron's symptoms.

Pete and Repeat were sitting on a fence. Pete fell off. Who’s left?

See, there's this thing called a virus that nobody can see and many people cannot even comprehend ...

to keep one of the fittest men in the world out of the hospital! Whew, thank God LeBron James is protected. Unless he has Joel Embiid luck. Then idk.

First it was "If you get the shot, you won't get COVID" - POTUS

Then it was testing positive for COVID despite being vaccinated is possible but a very rare breakthrough case.

Now it's you probably would have died if you got it but now you won't so everyone get their shots! And if you don't want it we will completely take away your livelihood. Might as well just let Kyrie play at this point. What's the difference between him and these hundreds of fully vaccinated athletes testing positive? If Kyrie dies he dies.

I'm with you. So why the different standards for vaccinated v. unvaccinated? You can go sit in Madison Square Garden with 30,000 people indoors without a mask if you're vaccinated, but not if you're unvaccinated you are not even allowed to enter the building. The "science" is so flawed in it's implementation

Well sort of. The Nets are also preventing him from playing in games he's eligible to play. My post is directed at the city of NYC and it's hypocritical rules that make no sense

I really can't blame the Nets on this one

Almost no restaurants are even enforcing the mandate

Maybe MSG takes it seriously I'm not sure

There was a time where the Mets and Yankees had vaccinated and unvaxxed sections
The Yankees were semi serious about checking
At Citi field it was a total joke

Same earlier in the season when you needed a negative covid test to get in the stadiums

Why does the NFL let old fat guys play wide receiver? Makes no sense.
