Seems like an ambitious project. Are you working on this just by yourself? Does it take up a lot of your time? If it ends up being the best HUD Id definitely be interested. Even more so if I end up getting more than one tracker, but Im wondering if youll be able to keep up with all the site updates and tracker updates in the long term. I see you originally predicted end of Feb release, although Im more familiar with how poker software deadlines work these days
Not trying to challenge you or anything. Just really not sure where things stand.
(I assume you intend to make it commercial right? If not, obviously ignore post since whatever comes of it is a bonus.)
Good questions. The plan is to support all the sites all the trackers support, at least those that are HUD friendly (ie those that allow HUDs and those that have local hand history support). Managing multiple trackers is actually easier than managing multiple sites, but both pose obvious challenges.
As of right now, yes, I am planning on selling this; likely soon. It won't cost more than $30 although I may add some unique features that I charge more for. The program lost some of its momentum when the PT3 HUD came out, and the lack of momentum is also a reason for the delay in the commercial release. The other reason is that this is obviously a side project for me (I have a day job AND I play poker AND I have a wife and 2 kids that like to occasionally spend time with me
). I also want to make sure its commerical-ready before I sell it. Right now, its close, but there are a few things I'm just not happy with so it will probably be a couple weeks before I release it commericially.
I think its the best thing out there right now, mostly in its flexibility, design and ease of use. The most recent addition of position stats (identified for each stat you display and for all stats in the popup window) is pretty sweet IMHO, as is the session graph (if you play any heads up).
And, yes, I'm working on this alone. (Although Fozzy did the mucked cards
)
