whoa i just restarted my comp and opened up PT3 Full Tilt and POH and now stats are showing!

Edit: Did you do something to change the font of the stats? mine seem bigger.

Edit2: I changed all the font sizes from 10 to 9 and then saved, so the stats disapeared but didnt come back. I closed and opened POH and now no stats.

Thats interesting. Normally it takes a few seconds to refresh the stats after you save them.

Can you do me a favor and back up your userlayout.xml file, delete ther userprefs.xml and userlayout.xml file and restart and see if it works?

Did this and stats showed up. Anyway i can keep my existing layouts?

Mayb it's relevant that i copied the userlayouts.xml and the userprefs.xml files from another computer? This computer is new so i installed POH then copied the files. I had done this previously tho because i play on 2 comps and it worked.

Edit: I put back my old layouts.xml and its working now, i kept the new prefs.xml tho

Edit2: I checked off hide hero stats then saved, all the stats died and only re appeared on one table out of 6, and those stats are not updating. I do have PT3 auto importing. Nothing on the rest of the tables except the table avg box, no stats in it tho.

Edit3: Im pretty sure the stats only no 1 table was a glistch because stats only showed up underneath where the cockpit had been. I know this because i deleted the files again, then copied my backup layout file in and POH worked, i then disabled hero stats and saved and no stats.

Edit 4: Obv just deleting prefs file works. Disable hero stats is stored there i guess.

Edit5: If i just hit save layout without having chanegd anything, the stats go away and come back normally. Also if i check off auto center hero, it shifts the stats and works normally

Yeah it likely would be a problem if you copied the userpreferences.xml file but what you want to retain mostly is in the layout xml file
so you should be good to go.

Thanks

Edit: better yet, download 0.4.5, make sure you've downloaded the new version of PT3 and then send the logfile.

What happens when you click Disable Hero Stats in the Cockpit? Nothing?

For those on Vista: I believe that after each new release you have to recheck the "run as administrator" box. (At least that is what I have had to do.) This may fix problems for Vista users.

Update 0.4.5 Posted

This should fix the problem some people were having with stats not showing or with layouts not saving.

Having some issues with tournament tables on Stars. I have PT3 and XP. First, I've downloaded the absolute latest version, but when multi-tabling, for example I just played 3 tables, 1 had no stats (a 45 man SNG), another had stats that showed at first, but froze after like 22 hands (a 6 man SNG) and the last table would show stats for people originally, but when people left and new ones came in, those new ones would not get stats showed, and the other people who HAD stats had the # of hands freeze. However, on this table, it worked perfectly fine once I went back down to just 1 table. Thanks alot.

Good job. It works good.
There are few things that can be improved(but they are not very important)
1)when postflop agr factor isn't defined(not enough hands) it painted like 20 squares(I'm sure that I just haven't correct symbol for it). Other stats is ok(problem only with this one). If you like I can send a picture
2) I didn't find an option how to set default for every new table to show my stats for the table(not using all my hands) prolly it would be better to bound this option to the theme settings.

SoCal,

I have worked out this issue with a few people. I can set you in the right direction if you give me some details. In my next build, I'll improve the seat preference detection routines to deal with some problems.

Are you using Vista? If you are, look for the user.ini file in 2 locations: 1) in main PokerStars directory, 2) in the AppData directory under Documents and Settings/[Your User Name]/AppData/PokerStars

Note that to get to the AppData directory, you may need to permit explorer to find hidden files.

Once you've located them or if you found one, open each user.ini file. The once with a SeatPrefs item is the one you want. Replace the other user.ini file with this one, making sure you back up the one you're replacing.

If you're on XP, find the user.ini file and make sure POH is pointing to that directory as the Main directory in preferences.

Hope that helps.

I'm using Vista. I just got this laptop yesterday, so I'm new to Vista.

In the main PokerStars directory, the user.ini file was just a couple lines, with Locale=0 and the install/download dates. I found the other user.ini file and put that in the main PokerStars directory. This didn't fix the problem.

I play 6-max, and sit in the #3 seat.
My Seat Preference line is: SeatPref=-1 2 -1 -1 -1 -1
Does that seem right?

Try deleting the userpreferences.xml file in the POH directory and restarting.
