I have a hard time understanding how being 1/32nd of anything is worth anything, including even being mentioned.

What the hell is going on with this story?
******s are saying that she was hired because she claimed to be 1/32 native american.

Even the trogledites at Foxnews stated the full quote, there is no proof she is NA, and there is no proof she isn't. Yet ikes has made an official determination of absolute fact from conjecture. things around here never change.

I've decided to take up the following political positions.

Only homosexuals should be allowed to marry.

Evolution should be banned in school. Only creationism should taught in school. However it should only be the Navajo creationist story.

Abortion should only be allowed in the fourth trimester.

I've recently started worshiping Zeus, if you're interested. I can get indignant discussing religion with anyone, and my religion is most likely older than theirs. They hate it when you call them bandwagoners.

I met my match the day I ran into a worshiper of Ra, though. Damn that guy.

I worked with a guy who claimed to be Hispanic on his college applications while being a freckle covered redheaded kid. He got a scholarship and everything. Don't know if they can take it away when they see you look totally white but I don't think they do any actual looking into it.

A few years back Princeton admitted a convicted felon who claimed to have grown up on a farm in Montana without electricity or running water (lies obv).

More to the point, LOL Affirmative Action all you want, I agree that it's horrible, but WTF at somehow spinning this as a scandal for Warren. Particularly in light of lol ikes' positions on other race-related topics.

Application? Maybe law school is different but from what I've seen at the post doc and above level you send a CV and letter of recommendation (or if you have a bad ass recommending you they can just call). It would be very weird to list 1/32 native american on a CV (the only biographical details I've ever seen is citizenship status) and it would even more bizarre if it was listed and people actually cared. Nobody who knows anything thinks that her claiming to be 1/32 NA (if she even did) matters.

This guy too:

(Josh Trevino)

He's a super lolworthy conservative guy who was a speechwriter for the GW Bush administration, founder of RedState.com and other assorted conservativey things.

Guy who just fought Shane Mosley looks like he's straight off the boat from Dublin but is Mexican.

There are more redheads in Mexico than you might think. During the famine, a lot of Irish folks who couldn't get into the US emigrated to Mexcio.

Front page of Drudge http://www.drudgereport.com/ currently features this Breitbart story which has to be one of the dumbest articles I've ever read...

"We're not birthers but..."

Just out of curiosity, what race related positions do I have that supposedly makes this not a scandal for Warren.

in-a-first-census-figures-show-more-than-half-of-babies-in-us-are-now-born-to-minorities

I suggest a venture over to the city-data politics section for some lolz.

My health insurance company is refusing to pay for a blood test for my 14 month old son, who has never had anything other than routine doctor visits, because of 'a possible pre-existing condition.'

I'll take 'deny claims without even checking what we were billed for' for $500 Alex.

The weird thing is that I know this happens to republicans all the time as well. Do they just find some way to still blame Obama for it? What completely irrational cognitive dissonance trick does that take?

The weird thing is you just tried to turn a lol insuranceaments story into lol GOPaments.

They are hammers who see nothing but nails.

"Things are bad now, but would be better with less government, therefore it is the government's fault my privately run insurance company is denying blood tests to my 14 month old child*"

* used as an example that just came up, not saying USC thinks that
