I highly doubt he's going to take questions.

That sessions has to caveat everything with "about the campaign" makes him guilty AF. Talking about sanctions wouldn't be about the campaign.

Sessions doubling down on "I did not mean to mislead" without really admitting that he did mislead and says he'll write the committee to clear things up or w/e

Yea, what good can come out of it? Especially if someone has audio/video proof of him discussing things with Russia?
03-02-2017 , 05:12 PM
Confirmed: Jeff Sessions frantically scribbled down hornbug's comments from this morning.

Predictit recusal market surged from 60s to mid 90s right before Sessions took the podium. Seems like someone has info.

I had the same thought. Talking about the potential administration is not talking about the campaign.

"I didn't have meetings with intermediaries or operatives about the campaign."

=

"I had meetings about sanctions."

Yes he will. That's the difference between a news conference and a statement.
03-02-2017 , 05:13 PM
Sessions recuses himself from matters that deal with the Trump campaign.
03-02-2017 , 05:13 PM
seems like in a pretty good mood. Probably got the dreaded vote of confidence right before this.
03-02-2017 , 05:13 PM
Whoa he recused himself?

Wouldn't be the first time someone announced a news conference and read a statement and walked away... Seems like that'd be the wise move. He's either going to incriminate himself or give a lot of no comments if he takes questions...
03-02-2017 , 05:14 PM
He's taking questions! Here we go.
03-02-2017 , 05:14 PM
Hahaha man he just said DOJ resists the urge to confirm or deny existence of investigations
03-02-2017 , 05:15 PM
"I was going to recuse myself anyway. na-na na-na boo-boo " -Jeff Sessions
03-02-2017 , 05:15 PM
"What was discussed?"

"Church. Next question."
03-02-2017 , 05:15 PM
What did you talk about?

We listened to what he had to say
03-02-2017 , 05:16 PM
rofl sessions saying that he and the russian ambassador talked about church
03-02-2017 , 05:16 PM
Says he doesn't remember much of the meeting, and he's couching a lot of it in, "as I recall."
03-02-2017 , 05:16 PM
He recused himself before speaking. The media was all over it before he took the podium.
03-02-2017 , 05:16 PM
Press Conference is live now:
03-02-2017 , 05:16 PM
that is so absurd, claiming he doesn't recall what they talked about
03-02-2017 , 05:16 PM
Somehow the subject of the Ukraine came up!
03-02-2017 , 05:17 PM
Sessions recusing himself from the investigation is interesting.
