You just did it again, you tried to use those two quotes to pretend like the ****ty things Greenwald does don't exist

Dilbert says things that occasionally appear ok sometimes too

basically the whole "WE-CAN'T-KNOW-THE-TRUTH-ABOUT-ANYTHING-EVER-WITHOUT-ON-THE-RECORD-SOURCING" schtick is just tired and busted. Yes it's great to get info from people who are willing to put their name on it, no it's not smart to just handwaive everything simply because the source who leaked the info would rather not be blasted in the face with polonium-laced hairspray. Come on.

LOL Scott Adams is making yootoobes now because of course he is.

He wouldn't be doing that if he was resigning. Him doubling down on the semantikesing from this morning is my guess.

idk if he holds a press conference just to reiterate what he already said but i guess we shall see.
03-02-2017 , 04:24 PM
and we STILL to this day do not know why Flynn was fired because the answer we were given ("lied to Mike Pence") is complete and utter bull****

At this point, "such a great job, so great" could be on the teleprompter. Bannon and Miller know he's going to say it.

Administration saying they are actioning hundreds of links from the intel gathered on the Yemen raid, hope the bad guys aren't listening to the news...

When they start lying to cover their own asses at Sessions' expense, it's a safe bet that he's done.

As a lawyer, here are some questions I would like to see Jeff Sessions answer:

Please describe in as much detail as possible everything that you discussed with Serge Kislyak in your conversations of July and September 2016.

Before each discussion with Kislyek, did you communicate, either orally or in writing, with anyone who was currently or formerly affiliated with the Trump campaign, or who you understood to be a surrogate for someone currently or formerly affiliated with the Trump campaign, about what you expected to discuss with Kislyak?

If yes, describe in as much detail as possible everything you remember about those communications.

After each discussion with Kislyek, did you communicate, either orally or in writing, with anyone who was currently or formerly affiliated with the Trump campaign, or who you understood to be a surrogate for someone currently or formerly affiliated with the Trump campaign, about what you discussed with Kislyak?

If yes, describe in as much detail as possible everything you remember about those communications.

When were you first approached about possibly serving in the Trump administration in any capacity?

Since that time, have you had any written or oral communications with anyone who was currently or formerly affiliated with either the Trump campaign or the Trump administration, or who you understood to be an affiliate for someone currently or formerly affiliated with the Trump campaign or the Trump administration, about your conversations with Serge Kislyak in July and September 2016.

If yes, describe in as much detail as possible everything you can remember about those communications.

If you haven't figured it out yet, Snowden and Greenwald are both FSB assets at this point. They are disinfo and Snowden gave the FSB info/toolkits for asylum.

They didn't with Flynn. Trump himself already knew about Flynn's meetings with various comrades, before the election even (which is also why the given reason for firing Flynn makes no sense at all). http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/14/politi...michael-flynn/

The Intercept's take on Russia is up. (Spoiler: it's a zillion words about how horrible it is to say mean things about Russia. Indeed, the risks are "incomparably high.")

https://theintercept.com/2017/02/28/...-s-and-russia/

EDIT: A bonus feature is that GG finds himself echoing Russian defenses of the Russian foreign agent law, about which HRW has this to say:

Quote:
For the past four years, the Kremlin has sought to stigmatize criticism or alternative views of government policy as disloyal, foreign-sponsored, or even traitorous. It is part of a sweeping crackdown to silence critical voices that has included new legal restrictions on the internet, on freedom of expression, on the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people, and on other fundamental freedoms.

omg so good.

I love the conspiracy theories you guys come up with itt!

There really needs to be some push back on the R defense that his meeting was completely normal. It's already been shown he's the ONLY member of the Armed Services Committee that met with the Russian ambassador/spy in 2016. And he did at least twice that we know of. Hopefully someone is busy compiling a list of all Congress members that met with the Russian ambassador/spy in 2016, how many met 1 on 1, and how many met on multiple occasions. I bet the list is pretty short.

I would have guessed that right along with you, but we'd have both been wrong

I mean I guess in a way the distancing on the part of the WH makes sense. If The Sesh is talking to the Russians as a senator and not as a part of the campaign then why would they need to know about it? That's the most likely angle they are shooting for here.
