I’m skeptical about how much he knows about Trump. Seems like he was running his own election based scams that he didn’t really have any incentive to tell people in the campaign about.

If he knew he was getting pardoned I don't see why he'd make the deal. From my understanding the asset forfeiture is civil and is pardon proof.

If he decided to fight this and lost but then got a blanket pardon from Trump would he have been able to keep his money? Because if so then I think it makes it nearly a lock the plea bargain is genuine since he wouldn't have agreed to give up his money if he thought the pardon was likely.

Those dirty Puerto Ricans are just trying to get in the limelight and worm their way closer to the heart of real Americans and pretend they're not from some foreign xanadu or whatever hemisphere they're from.
