My buddy who was basically a liberal 10 years ago, voted for Obama the first time, and who I've pretty much watched turn conservative (I finally found out he reads Krauthammer religiously), from this political mailing list we're on:

Again, I'm obviously seeing this differently but I want my cops to shoot criminals. That's called law enforcement IMHO.
How do you even respond to that? Coincidentally or not, he's from the South. I'm wondering if it's a common thing for southerners and midwesterners to have their liberal "rumspringa" then drift back to this state.
