Man up and eat veggies a few times a day adding them to your meals and as sides to meals. Maybe some fruit too if you can spare the cals.

Is eating fruit and veggies daily really such a chore? I'm no super health nut but I very much enjoy both and feel sick if for some reason I miss out on them for a couple of days running.

No Asian background but I also could never give up rice completely. Bread, pasta, noodles etc I have no problem giving up. Having said that I think any diet that totally eliminates someones favourite foods is setting people up for failure, it is all about portion sizes IMO. Then again I'm no expert.

I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, but can never seem to get enough fibre. Going to start adding some black beans and chick peas into my meals.

Ok well idk if its just to help you be more regular or w/e but psyllium husks are quite good to add to smoothies to up your fibre intake and help in that area.

yeah i've actually gone in the wrong direction after tickling 190 before my vegas trip, back up to 198 - crazy how quickly it goes back on

ok done- want to do the official weigh in on Monday? I am thinking my weight will be bloated tomorrow because I didn't eat well the last two days and dont want to give myself an advantage.

you'll have an advantage anyway since you're starting off at a higher number, but nbd

what's your goal date? i've got to get sized up for a tux some time in that area, so whatever works for me

let's say 6 weeks for the loser - plus two weeks per point in difference in percentage? (i.e. you lose 4% of your body weight and i lose 3%, you own my avatar for 8 weeks)

go buy Fibre One original cereal (not the one with honey or maple). 1 serving is 14 grams of fiber out of 90 cals. Add a little milk and it tastes fine imo.

Otherwise just eat more veggies, apples, raspberries, etc.

It probably makes a little difference in theory, but for all practical purposes just counting calories is good enough ainec.

Anyway my impression is that by far the biggest advantage of cheat days is to allow you to have nomzies to prevent your head from exploding, anything else is marginal at best.
