Goggle applications are in the process of being used for metaverse virtual world image indexing and catalog applications. Regional coordinates are cammed by avatar-based movement in virtual camera scripted vehicles through 3D simulators in pseudo-Levy patterns and indexed with image captures for recognition correlation of objects, avatars, and scripts in a virtual-GIS. Reported forecast is for searchable database results of the Second Life and/or OpenSim Virtual worlds to be available as early as 3Q-2011 from imaging suppliers.
Google Virtual Reality (sort of)later this year? Or did I read this wrong?
about the 3d virtual applications with an avatar etc, how is having to "virtually" walk through a hallway to doors or whatever more useful or convienient than clicking on buttons next to each other with a mouse? it seems like a waste of time and virtual space
Ice cube trays are great for freezing things other than water. For example, if I pick up a two liter bottle of soda, I'll fill an ice cube tray with the soda, and find that it usually works out well in terms of having root beer cubes for the rest of the root beer bottle. You can obviously also mix and match. This can also work for making white wine ice cubes, or tonic cubes for gin and tonics (handy for summer outdoor parties).
When making whipped cream, it conventionally involves a metal bowl on top of another metal bowl with ice in it. You then whip together 1c cream and 2T sugar in about a minute.
The trick is to put the bowl and whisk in the freezer for 10-15 minutes beforehand and you can skip the ice and other bowl altogether. It worked perfectly.
I've made whipped cream in a room temperature bowl - or you can just shake a 1/2 empty carton of heavy cream. Does the cold bowl make it turn into whipped cream faster?
Obtain ice cube. Rub cube vigorously on bloody spot until blood begins to break up. Follow up with soapy rag or other cleaning device and then towel dry.
Might not affect many people, but if anyone uses a wireless cellular dongle* for internet and has a bad signal, try placing the dongle* in a glass. Don't ask me how or why it works, but I just tried it, and it's awesome.
*the dongle is the wireless card or usb attachment......thing....that you get from your cellular company**.
**I may have made up the word dongle in a fit of drunken incoherence 3 years ago. Or it might really be a word. **** if I know.
I have heard the word "Dongle" refer to a usb device that plugs in to a computer and acts as a licensing device. It's a way to activate software without having to enter a product key or activate via internet.
I used them at my old job for some of the very expensive development software for large control systems.
