Because lolcats are known for their spelling, I'm going to declare I did that on purpose and move on smoothly and with a plumb.

Chinamen aren't allowed to correct people's spelling. Does chinese even have spelling?

Anyway here is a life trick, if you are thinking of buying something, and you ask yourself, "Would it be a hassle to use it regularly?" then the answer is always yes. The thing you buy will gather dust, unused.

This has always worked for me so far.

kinda nerdy, but a friend didnt know, so i share:

if you download an avi divx mkv- file e.g. from a filehoster you dont have to wait till the download is finished to see the movie.
all you need is vlc player. you can then click the file, use dont repair and you can see the file while it is downloading (like a stream ,though you will have it on your harddrive once the download is finished)

Sick! I have no clue which files are divx mkv- or what that means, but I'm guessing that if I just try opening videos I download before they're done, sometimes it will work, and that is cool.

actually it works with most files (not with all e.g. original dvd-files)

it also dont work with packed rar.files- you have to use a trick for that:
if you are downloading rar-files you have to at least download the first rar.file complete- then you can unpack it with winzip or winrar and the movie will appear unpacking in progress...you can now open the movie with vlc player (use dont repair the file) and watch it while downloading the other rar files. the winrar winzip will stop if they dont find the secound third part etc. pausing, once you have the secound third part etc. you can just continue to unpackage while still watching the movie

In fact I was just going to recommend getting a redibreeze, my waterpik has already been obsoleted by the much cheaper, more convenient, and sexier redibreeze

People in this thread, (especially the Mod) who have now had multiple posts deleted for talking about a thing they should know they can't talk about should stop talking about that thing.

Your alarm is set for 7am, you need to get up an hour earlier (6am). You have 2 options:

1) set the clock's time forward an hour and be confused as hell in the morning

or

2) hold down "alarm" and press "hour" 23 times.

my trick:

Set your alarm for 6:59 instead of 7. this way you can go forward by changing the hour to 7:59, or backwards by changing it to 6:00 (minutes forward by 1). Both only take 1 click.
yeah, but then i lose a minute of sleep.

You have to press the minute button 59 times to set your alarm to 6:59.

Always keep the original packaging for big items like TVs, monitors, Computers. This will make moving much easier and keep your expensive stuff unharmed.
