It's actually supposed to be a blown out match, so yes, you can take a bad ass approach if you want

So you think ten player in a 1.10$ rebuy all making a rebuy paying 21$ for a 20$ prizepool is not better than paying 22$ for a 10man 2.20$ tourney for a 20$ pool?

If you have trouble staying awake driving long trips, blast the AC. Make it as cold as possible, and you won't even come close to dozing off. No one has ever gone to sleep shivering cold right? Works for me, as Id rather be uncomfortable than dead obv.

To avoid a hangover, eat/drink something while ur drunk w/ vitamins and minerals etc to put ur electrolytes back in balance. EmergenC, gatorade, salted tomatoes, etc.

Gatorade trick works.. but wtf at the driving tip. I can't fall asleep unless it's cold. Just open the windows and crank the music, hard to fall asleep with a strong wind in your face.

It's a wearable sleeping bag! (may have been posted in this thread earlier. Definitely somewhere in OOT)
Yeah, I posted this sometime ago. Best lounge around the house garment ever.

Wearing mine right now.

Better staying awake driving tip: munch/suck on something. I like tootsie roll pops or blowpops, but sunflower seeds are good too.

Can't remember if I saw that in this thread or somewhere else, TBH.

If you've got ice, letting a piece melt in your hand and then rubbing your eyes with the cold water is good also.

Also for staying awake while driving:

Listen to loud talk radio. The discussion gives your mind something to focus on. Music, because of the rhythym, can put you to sleep even if its loud, or death metal of something.

100% second this. Love talk radio when tired and driving. If you really need to stay awake call in to the show and banter. You'll be on hold for an hour waiting and collecting your thoughts then you'll get a bit of a rush from talking on live radio to the host.

A good entertaining book on tape will keep you wide awake. A bad one will put you right to sleep*. Chewing gum, sunflower seeds, or ice also work wonders.

*I've gone from falling asleep listening to one book, switching it to one I knew I liked and being wide awake for 4 more hours of driving.

Large cup off coffee, followed by a 15 minute power nap. The caffeine kicks in just as you are waking up from the nap.

ummm ok...how does this help while driving? Before you start ur trip, yeah, obv helps.

Im talking about driving for a long time where you have nothing to help u stay awake. Rolling down the window helps obv, but making it as cold as possible in general really helps me w/ not even coming close to dozing off unless uve been driving for an insane, unsafe amount of time

my advice is if you're so tired while driving that you have to resort to various techniques to stay awake: pull over and get some sleep. even if you are able to force yourself to stay awake, you really won't be in any state to react safely should an unexpected situation arise. don't risk it.

If you are sleepy while driving, just snack on something light. (Sunflower seeds, nuts, whatever).

When your gut is digesting food it keeps your brain awake.

This works tremendously well for me.

qft. i dunno, maybe the rest of you are all ER docs and law school students who are capable of driving your A game even while drowsy. for me, cat nap is the only thing i've tried that's even remotely effective.

If you only need to stay awake for a short time longer, try masturbating.

as long as that "short time longer" is "0.05 seconds after orgasm", this might work. otherwise, for me, it would definitely have the opposite effe--zzzzzzz...

I've pulled off the highway to find someplace to sleep and once I exited I was no longer tired. I think something about the monotony of guardrails and white lines was making me extra sleepy.

This. Ever time I've tried to sleep during a long road trip I become more alert the second I get off the road. Now I just stop for a drink and take a walk.
