The banana pudding shake at CFA (which I think is only sometimes on the menu) is legit one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted in my life

Definitely not a regular menu item. The peach shake is pretty awesome too.

Yeah CFA shakes are elite FF items. Cookies n cream & strawberry are delicious regular menu items; Banana Pudding (GOAT), Peach and Mint Cookies n Cream are all must-haves when they are available.

I usually get a shake on the way out though because the lemonade is so good w/ the food. Arnold Palmer also acceptable.

+1. For a sub chain this one is at the top for me. Love the original Italian as well. Also a big fan of Penn Station and Firehouse in the same category

I had the same impression as the other guy, have only been to Jersey Mike's once I think: moved close to one 9 months ago, tried it in the first month, never felt the urge to go back. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing impressive either. I'd pick it over a Subway, but prefer JJ, Potbelly and probably Firehouse.

Speaking of Firehouse ate there last night - was really pleasantly surprised how good the NY Steamer sub was (corned beef & pastrami). I thought it would be OK (hence ordering it), but it exceeded expectations. Very flavorful. I usually order a ruben and for my cured beef needs, so am used to eating with thousand island dressing; I forgot how darn good CB/Pastrami is with deli mustard.

Ended up getting one regular, one spicy, nuggets, and lemonade. And then I got a vanilla shake which I couldn't even finish because I was so full.

Regular was vastly superior to the spicy IMO, I doubt I would ever get the spicy again if I was there. I put cfa sauce on both and had them with pickles. Reg was really really good, I can't imagine the deluxe being an actual upgrade. Cfa sauce tasted a lot like honey mustard which I love so that was good.

Nuggets weren't anything special to me. I dipped them in Polynesian which was really good.

Lemonade was good but was a little warm for some reason. Obv it had ice in it so I dunno. The cfa I went to was in Philly. Definitely better service than what I'm used to, but I feel like if we were at one in like South Carolina or w/e it would have been even better. Like I've heard a lot about some of the employees coming over and asking how everything is, giving you refills etc. None of that at this one. They did have a lot of people working there though.

Shake was really good too.

Went to Mucho Burrito for lunch this afternoon and got a burrito bowl, have had Chipotle burrito bowls before and was hoping for something similar.

It was pretty close actually between the two places, next time I will get double meat though, definitely need double meat in a bowl.

For $9 the price wasn't absurd for the amount of food you get. There was more in the bowl than in a medium burrito which is about the same price. No charge for adding extra beans, peppers/onions or multiple salsas either. Guac not worth the extra $1 for the amount you get.
They also serve Jarritos so a pineapple Jarritos is a must.

I find their medium salsa to have enough kick for me that it pairs well with the food, never tried their hot salsa though.

Will probably make the buritto bowl my go-to there from now on.

I drink hot tea with sugar multiple times a day and think iced tea is disgusting. I also drink Arnold Palmers.

Sweet tea is gross. What ever we have in Canada that is called "iced tea" (Nestea or Lipton brisk) is so far superior that I feel like American sweet tea is some kind of practical joke on Canadians.

At least in northeastern US iced tea is the standard too.

I got a half gallon of Royal Farms sweet tea the other day by mistake. I thought it was the peach iced tea. Very similar tags.

Terrible mistake. It will never happen again. Sweet tea sucks.

Royal Farms iced tea is pretty damn good though. Wawa's iced tea is better but not by much.

I live in Scottsdale and going to Palm Springs this weekend and we always drive through Blythe obviously.....and I'm sure a lot of people ITT have driven through there at some point if they live in the southwest USA.

BEST BBQ place I have tasted is right off the main drag in Blythe called Rebel BBQ. Going to blast the Pastrami or Brisket Sandwich tonight so figured I would see if anyone has ever hit it up. I think it's 4.5 or 5 stars on yelp FTW.

Yeah I had a regular, a spicy, nuggets, and lemonade which came to like $12 or 13 and was completely full. Can't imagine eating even more.

Champ,

I am 100% with you on the regular being way better than the spicy - and I love spicy food.

had the Wendy's new junior steakhouse burger. Decent, but the JBC is such a better value at the same price point that I can't imagine ordering it again. Got that and the half size BBQ Chicken salad, which was quite delicious. 700 cals for the meal, not bad at all!
