The Wendys app notified me over the weekend that Sunday was the last day for the breakfast offers.

If it will take the covid with it, sure thing.

On a more topical note, sampled two of the new Taco Bell toasted breakfast burritos for science this morning. Got the $1 cheesy toasted burrito (went with the potato option over sausage) and the $1.99 hash brown toasted burrito.

Both were good but neither was life changing and the crunchwrap remains a far superior play. The $1 version was better than expected, with potato, egg, nacho cheese and pico. Expected the nacho cheese to be overpowering and it wasn't, there wasn't that much. The hash brown version had a whole hash brown, egg, cheese and sausage. It was fatter, since it had an actual hash brown stuffed inside it.

Be sure to ask for lots of sauce because both were dry, or better yet upgrade by adding creamy jalapeno sauce when you order (wish I had).

Did not try the Grande version, was not that hungry.

By the looks of it I'd be ordering a lot of those Cheesy Toasted 1 dollar burritos if they had them on the menu all day. Big fan of the Taco Bell potato offerings. Will have to get out some morning and try them.

My wife just impulsively picked up some Krystal burgers while she was out depositing MIL's stimulus check. Krystal is going to be almost unaffected by any beef shortages, but their grease flavored burgers go down so good!

I’m getting ready ****ing low on TB packets. Why do those ass holes working the drive thru think I only need 5 packets when I order 5 items? I always say “a lot of hot sauce.” Rarely do I even get 10 packets, which typically doesn’t even cover 2 items. Maybe I need to use raw numbers like, “give me 50 packets of hot sauce please” in hopes that I get maybe 15.

My normal play is to hit the dining room and grab handfuls of packets. Rona is ****ing everything up. Also, the bottled sauce in the store just isn’t the same. NEED MOAR PACKETS.

Even a few SALSAS in there. I also follow the tarheels system of walk-in pillaging. Great for taco nights too.

My TB here quit putting sauce in the lobby years ago. People were grabbing double handfuls for 1 taco.

Right. Before putting them in the pantry, her writes the numeric date on the 3-4 packets.

I've always followed the assumption that the sauce will never go bad. It's TB, after all. Preservatives galore!

Nice stash. I definitely use the sauce for more than just TB meals.
