What's the profile on Peaky Blinders? If it's not that it gets better as it goes, I'll have to drop it.

I'm 3-4 episodes in and it's decent - solid, but not really suspenseful and what you think is going to happen basically does. I don't really find any of the characters very unique or interesting.

Worth watching it for Tom Hardy in S2

Not really meant to be that suspenseful, just a fun, really good looking and sounding show

The Last Narc is released today on Prime:

It's the unvarnished story about the murder of DEA agent Kiki Camarena in Mexico.

I really enjoyed Peaky Blinders, as did my husband. It's not meant to be "suspenseful." A little violent, but a good show. Not a happy/uplifting show, though!

Me neither, but several media outlets are reporting it is streaming now on Prime. I also had ads in my Prime notifying me about its upcoming release. I suppose later today it will be available for all...

Watched the 1st couple of episodes of Solar Opposites by the creators of Rick and Morty on Hulu. Not quite sure how I feel about it. It was funny, but still an adjustment hearing Rick's voice on another character. I have faith in the series though. Humor has the same sensibilities as R&M, just needs time to establish characters.

Very similar to when bob's Burgers started and I kept thinking it was Archer.

I agree. Wish his character was featured throughout the entire series.

It's a constant cycle of them getting stuck in a jam that will certainly lead to their demise, they miraculously get out of it and come back stronger than ever, for 5 seasons. It isn't a great show, but it is a fun watch.

Hollywood really sucks. Turning 40's Hollywood into PC millennial diversity crap just isn't my cup of tea. Seems way forced to me.

I'm a Pacino fan too. He was always good at making angry outbursts interesting. The problem now is that it seems to be the only thing in his wheelhouse. ie: The Irishman.

The best old actor around these days is Bruce Dern. It's amazing that he has done close to 20 movies since he turned 80.

Peaky Blinders is cool AF.
Must watch with subtitles, especially Hardy

Ignore the contrived-sped up plots as a lot has to happen when a season is only
6 episodes.

The director is the same guy who did the Operation Odessa doc, so I am hoping it does get released.

mentioned it earlier, but I'm going to plug it harder, because I ended up binging all 4 seasons in a few evenings. kim's convenience is actually really enjoyable. It's light hearted and entertaining, funny and the characters have depth and are likeable. Actually would really recommend it

I really liked it. great light entertainment. The father absolutely kills it and steals every scene he is in. "Sneak attack!"

I guess because all that **** is spying on us, I started getting kims convenience **** in my youtube recommendations after I started watching it on netflix, so I watched one of them, It was the actor who plays mr kim winning an award for best actor in a comedy, was pretty crazy to hear him talk cuz he sounds like a regular canadian...but when he first walked up and accepted the award he went "yeah, I deserve!", haha.
