Watched Ford v. Ferrari on HBO last week. It was so good it sent me down a racing documentary rabbit hole.

The 24 Hour War is a documentary about the events Ford V Ferrari is based on. Was interesting to see the real Shelby and Miles. Was amazed to find out the way the race in the movie ended was actually true and not some made up Hollywood crap.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive As someone who (prior to this week) never watched a Formula 1 race, I can't believe how emotionally involved I got into this series. The seemingly insignificant difference to an outsider between teams finishing 4th or 5th gets you completely wrapped up. The personal stories of drivers who either get cut for lack of skill or team politics are also very interesting. Not sure I'll ever become a Formula 1 fan until they figure out how to level the playing field a bit so that more than 1 or 2 teams have a shot at winning, but I will watch every season of this series.

Agreed. It is the only DVD that I can remember buying twice, and the only DVD I've watched in the last 5+ years.

Just finished it, and I'm probably going to turn right around and rewatch it.Read season 2 isn't until 2021, ugh, going to kill me to wait that long.

warrior nun surprisingly not terrible so far

desperados was pretty bad. Which sucks because I typically even like the bad movies in that genre, and I love Aly and Winston, but this wasn't even good bad, it was just really boring bad.

Okay, even though it sounds like nothing I'd ever enjoy, I watched the first episode of Dave...and it was pretty damn great. Very funny. Lil Dickey is really good, and GaTa was awesome, too. I will be watching more.

i think 4 seasons is the sweet spot

i can think of a few now
halt n catch fire
mr robot
now Ozark

i think if writers aim for 4 and story can be wrapped in 4 its like 40-48 episodes generally with a 10-12 ep per season.

Its good for viewers too cos then we don't have to have bad seasons

Hamilton absolutely lives up to the hype!! Really love all of the subtle The West Wing Easter eggs sprinkled throughout. LMM’s episode of the podcast got me hyped for it and I’m so glad I watched it!! Just incredible front to back!!
