uncut was well cted and filmed but it didnt gravitate me as much as peopel wre hyping it up for best pic nom. parasite was a lot more enjoyably

The early critics reviews of "Space Force" that comes out tomorrow are not very good.
I wasn't loving the trailer like a lot of you. We will see.

Holy ****, Filthy Rich is so infuriating. Still recommended though, lots of details people need to know. Money = power as always and the wastes of life still breathing will never face justice.

One thing about Uncut gems is that it can be tiring to watch.

There is a constant , frenetic quality to the movie and I can see how
people on the fence could get turned off.
I constantly wanted to give Sandler some back of the head slaps cuz he was
just doing stupid stuff over and over.

He was also doing....

I've been ripping through a rewatch of Taboo on Hulu. It's seriously such a gem, there's nothing else really like it.

It's also WAY more satisfying to watch on Hulu rather than FX, because no commercial breaks. I give FX major kudos for taking a chance on such a weird show for american distribution, but it's absolutely infuriating to watch a period piece that is interrupted by modern commercials. I highly doubt BBC aired it with commercials.

Agree with this completely.

But to be fair to the other poster who doesn't want to see it because of Sandler, he's not playing his usual garbage character.

Watched 1st 4 episodes of Space Force. It's extremely Meh. Maybe 2 or 3 laughs so far.
At least only 30 min. episodes. I heard it gets better.

Which is what the people involved with it are known for. Middle of the road comedy with a low ceiling, but generally still watchable.

It was made by Greg Daniels, co-creator of those shows. Michael Schur is the other part of that "co-" and is the real genius behind The Office, P&R, The Good Place, and Brooklyn 99.

It reminds me of a slightly funny version of Avenue 5 (HBO show). At least I think I will keep watching Space Force.
