Well I never met girls off a dating site, I do a lot of my picking up on myspace. Just browse strike up a convo try to be funny. Get them over be really touchy feely and funny and bang sex. I'm not even the best looking guy, but I can honestly over the last 3months I've probably hooked up with about. 10 girls, and if i get them to hang out. I think I'm getting sex like 8/10 times.

eHarmony is a different animal from most sites. I think it attracts a more serious, older, perhaps religious demographic. Definitely people looking for serious relationships. For a while they did not match people looking for same-sex relationships, though I think public opinion forced a change there.

If that's what you're looking for, very little of this thread applies to you and eHarmony is probably a good option. I know a few people who used it, including one successfully. They never mentioned any complaints.

I did a case study on that, actually. It's called "Compatible partners" or something like that. I think they were vehemently against it, and actually got sued, and even then they refused to integrate it into their site and made a new site instead.

They're a super religious/Christian organization that's actually based in my hometown of Pasadena.

Okay, I have to weigh in on this topic to dispel some of the bad info out there.

I have been on POF on 2 separate occassions. First time for about 2 months and currently for about a month and a half. I can honestly say that this is the greatest invention for getting laid ever. I have probably averaged about 1.5 girls a week and that number is only limited by time and resources (going out during the week is both expensive and kills me at work the next day).

I have always been good at getting girls and I am good looking etc but I really think that matters less than most of you think. If you are not as good looking you probably wont get as many inbound messages but just send a few more outbound. In talking to most of these girls, the competition is a joke and most guys are weird and creepy. I would say that when I am signed on I probably get about 3 or 4 inbound messages a day and about half of those are from good looking girls the other half are scary. On POF, you need to be signed in at some point that day to be searchable, so keep that in mind.
About half of the girls I have been with initiated contact with me and the other half I contacted.

I can't properly express how easy it is. My profile is funny and charming and SHORT. Don't write a ****ing novel. Keep it simple. When I contact a girl it is almost always the same thing "Nice profile. You seem fun and interesting. If you are interested in talking message me back." If there is anything in their profile that I can use to add some humor, I will but this opener has about a 75% response rate.

The best thing about this site is that you get to do almost all of the leg work before you ever meet. You message back and forth a few times, talk on messenger, get her number, put in some phone time, set up a date and that is it. By the time they meet you it is almost a forgone conclusion that you are getting laid. Of the probably 25 girls I have met from this site I have probably had sex with 20. 12 of those were on the first night, 6 more on the second date and 2 on the 3rd date although I got blown and jerked off by both of them on the secong date. The 5 that I didn't bang were for a variety of reasons but mostly because they didn't look at all like their pics or were obviously crazy and I knew it would be more trouble than it was worth. I did have 1 girl that wanted to hang out with her friends while we were out and I told her to have fun and I left.

The main problem I have is managing all of the girls. I will have like 5 girls at one time and texting and msging etc. It is too much to handle and I have seriously had to stay off because I don't want to waste good leads when I can't properly work them.

In my experience there are a lot of good looking girls on these sites and I am currently seeing a couple of legit 8s. Most of the girls I have met are between 6s and 7s or so. And I mean SOLID 7s. lol.

I am 35 although I probably look quite a bit younger irl. Most of the girls I talk are between 25- 30 and almost all say that get a lot of messages from weirdos and freaks. They get a lot of messages and reply to a small number of them from what they tell me. Obviously most guys are tools and will send weird messages and write page long messages or obvious copy and pasted materials. I always keep it short and direct and try to be funny.

That is a good question and I typically avoid that unless they are really hot or contact me. Probably about 5 of the girls I have been with have had a kid. I have never met any of their kids. I have only been on a second date with a girl with a kid one time. All of the other moms wanted sex on the first night and most of these dates were "come over and have some wine and watch a movie" dates. Which is definitely code for having sex. Every girl that has invited me to their house has been having sex with me within an hour or 2 tops.

I never ask for the "house date" but I will make subtle hints like "I just feel like chilling out doing something relaxing etc" This works fairly well.

It is easy for you but not most of 2p2. The problem is that most 2p2ers are probably pretty ugly and struggle in simple interactions that don't involve a computer.

First, to address some things other posters have mentioned; While I think being attractive helps, I think this is doable even if you are average or below average.
