I really like the badges as a concept but turned them off b/c they are giant and I do not like them on the stock apps or dock. Hoping the author allows more selectivity in the next release as I am always forgetting whether Pandora has backgrounding enabled or not.

Im trying to use swirly MMS v2 and it wont work, Ive put in the settings people recommend, do I need to call AT&T and make sure I have picture messaging on my plan not just text messaging for it to work? Also is there a way to back up my phone with jailbroken stuff so I can restore it once I update to the new firmware? Or just wrtie down the things I need to redownload and install?

edit* Called AT&T - refused to add MMS messaging - any update anywhere when we will have MMS?

also Found aptbackup in cydia so scratch that.

does anyone know if the "Remote" app works with a pc? I got it to work fine with my roommates mac but after typing in the code to my pc it just doesnt find the network.

also I know someone already asked but didn't see an answer. Is there a way to put a password on specific apps? Like if I don't want people going through my photos and seeing naked pics of my girlfriend.

you mean the one that controls itunes? If so, it works on my pc laptop.

Tethering
Turn-by-turn directions
Skinning
Easily reversible

Disadvantages:
Not entirely straight forward to do
Generally takes a few days to get OS updates jailbreakable

How do I get rid of this status thing at the bottom of my apps??:

My iPhone 3G is jailbroken (3.0). It appears at the bottom of every app that is running (according to SBSettings). So its ALWAYS at the bottom of the 'Phone' app, usually at the bottom of Mail, etc. I need it to go away. HELP and thx in advance.

visit www.google.com/voice and you can request an invite. thats how i did it.
