I met someone the other day who had a toothache, and they said they drank lots of carrot juice, among other things, per their naturopathic doctor, and now it's cured. So I'm pretty sure you need to juice the carrots for them to work.

FB friend had a birthday the other day, got the usual birthday wishes, most of which showed up on my news feed.

One of her friends posted a message in .jpg form, wishing her a happy birthday and giving her a gift of a 20% off coupon to an online store.

My first thought was that it was an odd gift. Who gives a coupon rather than a gift card? Then I saw what else was going on: the site was gift-giver's own online store for garbage jewelry and perfumes or some ****. Likely MLM bull****.

"Happy birthday! Here, have a gift that will benefit me!"
