phil, Sorry, yes you said alleviate the pain, not fix. But you left out going to the doctor so i figured u were implying that id only say smoke weed and not go to the doctor. So the analogy still doesnt work because i would tell him to go to the doc for the arm (and perhaps pot could help alleviate pain for a select few but wouldnt be better than say, advil) but for the OP id tell him pot might work without a doctor. And i never commented on anorexia, that was someone else. P.S. Sober and all u cant quote correctly . Haaaayoooo

Well i just find it sad that you're willing to let a bunch of naive people who came before you dictate your quality of life. I'll exit stage left and leve you to your ignorance. Good luck with your problems.

The medical world is still out on the exact risks and benefits of soy milk. Some studies for instance indicate there might be low sperm count risks on relatively normal doses so for OP who drinks an absolute ****load...

It would be more fun if you smoked weed (or more weed).

I am underweight and I tried that milk diet, you feel so sick when you eat because you're drinking all that milk. Why not try eating 2000 calories a day of normal food and see how it goes? I think your biggest problem may be hypochondria tbh.

how come when I suggest switching to almond milk / hemp milk / rice milk earlier in this thread I get completely ignored, yet this guy somehow gets acknowledged? I guess it's cause i'm craaazy. Personally I don't eat any soy at all, but I would have to agree with phill for once, while soy milk is inf healthier than cowmilk it's still notsogood for you, epsecially in mass amounts.

So, no pics of poop, or did I manage to miss it? It's a pretty important part of the equation.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. OP, please explain. How can you have forgotten how tall you are between the beginning of the thread and the end of the thread? Or did you grow 2" overnight?

OP,
Best of luck. Since you don't like eating, have you investigated high calorie snacks? Nuts are healthy and the portion size per calorie is low. Drinking as much milk as you do would not be pleasant for me.

You seem to be gaining weight with the milk thing. You don't actually look too thin in the pics. Of course, I was 6'5" 155 when I was 15 so you have to work to be thinner than I was. Once you figure out that you don't have a health issue, you just have to eat properly. Although you approach it from the opposite side, you have to watch your weight just like everybody who isn't in that small minority that can eat whatever they want and maintain a normal weight.

Because you replied to a poster who didn't like food and wanted to get some calories. The poster was eating peanut butter. Every grocery store in the US has peanut butter. Almost all have soy milk. Where I live, you have to make an effort to find the other stuff you want OP to eat. Since the OP's general tendency is to starve himself, he's probably not going out of his way to pick up some hemp milk.

Working your arm muscles vs working everything by squatting / deadlifting is like night and day. Starting strength is a good introductory program for weight training. I highly suggest starting a log in H&F - there are a lot of very knowledgeable people there.

Why don't you just eat normally?

Buuuuuuuuuuuull****. Of course it's not impossible. Why do you tell yourself such crap - surely you can't really believe it?

At worst, if eating actually made you feel really nauseous it would be very unpleasant and an absolute chore every day. Tough ****. So you have to do something you don't like to keep yourself healthy.

If it's just the fact you're not hungry at all and don't feel like eating, then lol. I mean sure, if you were undisciplined you might skip meals and get into the habit of not eating right. It's not hard to just force yourself to stick to a plan though.

Edit: About the retching - if you're being sick when you put food in your mouth wouldn't that be some sort of medical problem? But are you actually being sick? If you're just retching and are never/rarely sick, you may just be overreacting. Or you could be even causing your retching yourself.

I used to have a problem where I'd go running and like <2 minutes in I'd start dry heaving and retching all over the place. I had this idea in my head that I "felt sick" and was "going to be sick". Really, I was misinterpreting cues in my body. Whenever I did this, I'd try to put a lot of effort into not being sick (I *hate* being sick). I'd start to control my breathing etc. and when you're running this isn't a good idea. The more I'd try to stop myself being sick, the more I'd feel sick until I just stopped and started retching.

If I just breathed normally and didn't give a **** whether I threw up or not, nothing happened.

Throwing up isn't half as bad as you'd imagine. So really, you should just say "**** it! If I eat this meal and throw it all back up again on the final bite, so what". Not eating because you retch a bit is a really poor excuse.

And what's up with those catatonic schizophrenic people? Why don't they just stop ****ing sitting there all day in the same position. Do they really think it's so hard to just get up and move? I mean what's with that BULLLLLL****TTTT.

Yes, I'm also saying people in comas should just get up out of bed and stop being lazy.

Uh wait...

This guy believes w/o an appetite it's literally next to impossible to eat normally. This is clearly unsupported lunacy. Are your arms still functioning? Can you move them towards your mouth? If so, you can shovel food in there.

Just because you really really don't want to, doesn't mean you can't, let alone that it's IMPOSSIBLE.

Now, if you're literally throwing up every meal you eat, then you have a problem. But this guy doesn't even seem to be throwing up. He just retches. Are you telling me that it'd be impossible for me to eat a normal diet if I had no appetite and I retched 20 times each meal?

Uncomfortable? Yes. Really unpleasant? Yes. A huge pain in the arse? Yes. Something I'd hate to do every day? Yes.

Impossible? Uh...
