Is there some alternate version of rakeback like a Frequent Player Points system and he means switching back and forth between rakeback vs that, like you can pick one or the other but not both? Or did he mean something else by it? I only recently just got back into online poker so I don't know hardly anything about ACR or anything that happened in the past 8 years, so, would be good if people can explain what he meant by that in a bit more depth. Thanks
There is no more affiliate type of system anymore. You can just download the client.
By default, you will get 27% rakeback.
There is a second program called VIP (I think) that gives out points and the like - and is geared towards high volume players. This VIP program gives points instead of rakeback. Those points are used for cash, etc.
Customer Service will switch you to the VIP program once I believe.
If you follow this thread previously, it looks like the VIP program is having massive issues with shorting people points since their software update in May of last year.
My advice would be just to stick with the rakeback.
