My venom tickets are now showing up for every non Venom game with corresponding buyin level

I've mostly given up on this train wreck of a poker site. But given USA limited options I don't blame anyone for still playing here and I would consider playing again if PLO Blitz ran. I monitor this thread and the site to look for changes.

I got a ton of points put into my account clearly from 2019, but they therefore owe me a lot of medal rewards that are missing. I will wait a few hours to see if medals show up before dealing with customer service.

Nagy is a scumbag. And at some point he is going declare 2019 closed out even though there is an extremely high degree players got shorted. That is called theft.

Noticed today all my combat points were missing and have just a few thousand now, I guess they gave them to the people who just got theirs from 2019 I will say though, it did seem like I got extra when they paid some back in July/august whenever it was.

Anyone else have have Venom tickets they can't use anymore (i.e., ones with the extra penny)?

Yes, CPs appeared/disappeared in short order. Thankfully, WPN has always used transparent accounting practices.

This happens to me as well. I try to sit down, but my name never comes up and I never see any actions. Just, freezes.

try opening the client and have it update without your HUD open.

I believe so... however, who knows how much $$ we've been collectively ****ed out of because due Achievements weren't rewarded before points were zeroed for the new year (WPN only stole $10 from me via such)?

More than a few times I've been in the exact same seat. Not in the large tournaments, but On Demands when other seats are available at other tables. Or in the Stud MTT, which only had about 4 tables ever running at once.

Is PLO 50-200 pretty much all bots? Tons of E Euros who all seem super botty and even a handful of the USA players.

I played on Chico for awhile and knew all the bots, but I can't quite figure out the WPN ones. They seem to have a different playing style from the Chico ones.

Why people always assume that good players who don't tilt are always bots? I went through my Hand2Note database and my biggest winning rate is against Russian players on Blitz50 ( of course 40000 hands is still small sample ). I did Range Reseach in H2N on top 100 grinders and most of them play pretty predictable weak tight style and could be exploited if you spend time to prepare.

Sorry if this has been asked here before but how exactly do the venom satties work? Say I get multiple stage 3 or 4 tickets can you convert them to cash and do you have to play them all?

If you're unaware of the bot problems that plague either network you can speak to me about the bot problem in NLHE cash games at Chico, Fossilkid about the bot problem in PLO cash games at Chico, HandofGod666 about the bot problem in PLO cash games at WPN. I'm sure there's somebody here who can also enlighten you about the bot problems in the WPN's NLHE cash games.

I also didn't see it mentioned that these bots weren't somewhat exploitable. That fact is besides the point. They should all still be gotten rid of for the betterment of the games.

Nobody's claiming that every Russian/Eastern European account is botting, but it's pretty clear at this point that those locations are where the vast majority of the botting accounts across all poker sites are most commonly registering from.

And if you think Ignition/Bovada/Bodog are immune because of location restrictions I have bad news for you. I've been made aware that Russian players have been getting accounts on that network too.

I'm not just a new player complaining poker is rigged, I know what I'm talking about. I've played more PLO at these stakes on BetOnline than any non bot over the past 5 years and I know exactly which regs are bots and which are honest players.

With all the rewards WPN offers and the nature of the games, it's a near certainty that they have even more bots than BetOnline does (and they already have a pretty substantial amount).

What you said does nothing to disprove the fact that they are bots. I agree that they can be beatable. I'm able to beat the BetOnline bots at a pretty decent clip, but that was after months of hard study and hands against them.

As MCA pointed out, even if it is possible for some players to beat them, that doesn't mean they shouldn't be gotten rid of. The fact is that they can play insane hours and #s of hands and absolutely destroy casual players who sit down to play. They are taking a ton of money out of the pockets of honest players and should be taken seriously and dealt with.

Now i guess it shouldnt matter if i was just busted as much as where my position was on that bust hand. That is what should matter I guess. If I was BB when I busted, or SB, then I shoiuld be seated back upon rebuy on the button it would seem....

Another thing, sometimes they make a new table upon late reg or rebuy, and its just you and one or two other opponents. Usually just a quick two or three hands. But it gives chance to steal to someone when you are allk sitting with 10-15bb stacks, then fills the table. Ive been on good and bad side of all these scenarios, I just think it's worth noting as a community if it is messed up...seems like a pretty big deal.

Like, surely this isn't how pokerstars handles it...
