It looks like Carbon is doing a tourney series in early November. Looks like Poker Maximus 6, with no freeroll giveaways:

It's Carbon/Aced. Nothing really too special. Sad I won't be participating because they made it impossible for me to play on their site.

Players are able to have one pending withdrawal active at a given time. Any requests beyond that have been canceled and returned to your player account balance. You will be able to initiate new withdrawal requests after your next payout processes.
Same thing just happened to me.

same here! my account suddenly was +5,000 today bc they said that you can only have 1 cashout pending at a time. You use to be able to have an unlimited amount of cashouts pending then up until a month or two ago they reduced it to a max or 4 pending at one time. Something is going on at Carbon an its sketchyyy!! Seems like they are preparing for something and trying to cover their ass as much as possible.

Anyone have any input on all these sudden changes and whats going to happen in the upcoming weeks??

Seems to me they are making these changes so the grinders will leave their network. They'd much rather have the fish losing to the fish because they won't ever cash out. Nothing shady as far as I know, just their genius business model of the future.

That makes sense. Do you know if pokerhost is like that as well ?? I'll just gradually cash out what I have on Carbon an simply play on another Merge skin if i need to.

It's not a skin thing, it's a Merge thing. Host actually has less game selection than Carbon/Aced now. I'm not sure if Host has changed their cash out policys yet.

Hello,

How long does carbon plan to use a long 3 hour and 45 min late registration period for their tournaments?

Thank you

New update removes you from a cash table much faster if you sit out.

No answer to this yet? I'm really curious on a clarification here.

I cashed it 9/23 and added the funds to my br. 3 days later I find an NSF charge and the entire amount of the check taken from my checking acct. Contact Carbon and they want documentation proving everything. I am out of the country again so when I return I send it immediately (10/4). They respond saying they need to contact the processor and for the last 2.5 weeks their responses have been the same boilerplate bs explaining once they speak to the processor the new check will be sent out. Yet they refuse to give me any dates and to remain patient.

Is there a way to get someone on the phone? Or speak with a supervisor, I just asked in my latest email.

Any advice on getting my funds would be greatly appreciated.

Moral of the story - Cash the check ASAP!
New check arrived yesterday, cashed today. Very strange since support never told me a new check was on its way. Hopefully this one doesn't bounce...

Wonder if they will reimburse the $12 bad check fee.

They shouldn't since it is your fault in the first place, but glad you got your money.

Depends...there's a late night 11pm pst $250 i usually play, but if i forget and am not on time it usually doesn't get teh 6 and cancels. If it does pop off it usually ends up with 80-100 buys, usually fuels by a few bads OR reg just trying to get a big stack...

So there are no stacked checks allowed anymore? This is fine as long as cashouts stay super quick but what about when the wait times inevitably reach 6-8 weeks again (which is still the quoted time frame).

Yep, I have cut back at least 80% at Carbon. 2 hour and 10 minutes of late reg on many tournies, or more? Ridiculous.

And no rakeback.

But somethings I personally like a bit...Rebuy tournies w 2K in chips, addition of more HORSE and STUD tournies, and nice rakeback in the Racebook.

What makes you think it will go back to 6-8 weeks? Most other sites are about the same time frame as they have been lately so there isn't a reason to think they can't sustain it. They also have pissed off all of the regs who cash out and ruined the games so there will be less money for them to have to process now anyway.

Because in this environment things change all the time. Processors go down, etc. I've been with Merge since they were doing debit card payments (that was nice while it lasted). I highly doubt payouts remain under a week forever. If you check the withdrawal thread there are already reports of people going on 2 weeks. Merge themselves say the expected time frame is 6-8 weeks.

I'm assuming nobody in the US can use Skrill (Moneybookers)? Sure makes me feel spoiled to be a Canadian. Poker Stars withdrawls are like 30 minutes, ipoker >24hrs, and Merge is slow by comparison at 2-3 days. 6-8 weeks to me seems flat out unacceptable.

The guy who was 1st in the sng leader board for high and mid just disappeared off the list. Has this happened before? I'm also pretty sure a 2nd person who was in the top 10 of the mid leader board is gone too.

Probably cheated someway. It says in the Terms and Conditions that any player found cheating will be removed from the promotion. Don't pay attention too much to notice if its happened before... Even those players did cheat, I'm glad they've been removed.

Two of the top four on the mid stakes sng lb vanished. I have a feeling it's a glitch.

But you could be right.

FWIW, those two players played noticeably differently.

The 4th place player is someone I had never seen before this month. Maybe a reg switching skins? The other one is a long time solid reg. I would be shocked if he was cheating.

Maybe he turned out to be 14 years old or something.

They need to put rebuys back on the schedule.

Today is missing the $33r turbo 2k at 20:00. I see no rebuys on the entire schedule over $2.20 now.

The $22r turbo shorthanded 5k always filled, and same with the big gtd $33r's throughout the day.
