I'm now waiting on proof of these allegations to show Bovada so that I can either receive another check or have the funds credited back into my account. This comes after the bank had released the funds from the first 3k check on Tuesday, but when I went to check my account today, I was informed that it had been frozen.
I'm really hoping that I'm not the only one that this has happened to.
Update: funds from both checks have cleared completely, and my acct is no longer frozen. However, due to reasons unbeknownst to me, my bank is "terminating" their relationship with me. I'm on my way now to close out my account and collect a cashier's check.
However, all of this is probably due to my unique extenuating circumstances.
Cliff's: if you want to ensure a painless cashout process, DO use a major bank to do so. (I suggest using a bank that rhymes with "face")
Also, if they arrest me for that second check being "fraudulent", I'll post a TR.
