What did support say when you emailed or called them?

Also, if you haven't already, check your Bovada inbox by logging into the website.

I just called them. They said it was declined because my balance went below having enough money to fund the check. I explained that this was wrong since my balance was around 2200$ and the check I requested was about 1100. So I know for a fact I didn't lose any money during the processing period. And I def didn't lose no 1k hehe. So either they were lying or their system glitched. Anyway the support lady on the phone processed the payout for me and its been deducted from my balance. So the check is now on the way finally.

Glad you got it sorted out. There's probably a minimum wait time between depositing/cashing out, and there's probably something automated in the system that declines a cashout if there are pending bonuses or something. Then again, if the cashier system is made by the same people who wrote the poker client, who knows wtf could happen with it.

1) No, but new players get 6 freeroll tickets that they can use to try to earn a spot into the 100K guaranteed. There's also a weekly lucky draw that they send random people tickets to.
2) Yes, as long as it's able to be used for international transactions.

2. So how would said winnings go into your bank account?
1. yes
2. you would receive cash out most likely via check, which you would then deposit in said bank account. That is if you are using a prepaid card, Netspend has always worked for me.

Maybe I missed it in this thread, but is there supposed to be a currency exchange on the checks from up North?

I deposited a check in the lower four digits to a big chain bank and they accepted it, however took out about ~12.5% in what they said is the exchange rate. Is this correct?

As long as the check states US Funds, then there should be no currency conversion rate. However, many tellers have no experience with foreign checks and just start pressing buttons until their computer accepts it. Most of the time they do this they end up putting a conversion rate in even though there should be none. Best to go to a manager in these situations.

I'm almost positive the check was in USD, but I don't have it anymore and I can't remember 100%.

Anyways, the first teller that I went to didn't know how to process the check, so they sent me to another teller who said she had experience with foreign checks.

And I didn't mention it but...

Check requested 6-8
Approved 6-9
Received 6-10

Sorry for clogging the thread.

I called the bank back and had the teller look at the check. She said it was in "US funds" and she had made a mistake. I will be credited with the full amount of the check.

What's the verification procedure on Bovada? (I.e which docs?) And are checks free to request? Want to know the cheapest way to withdrawal funds

I've never had to send in any verification documents.

Did you never deposit with a credit card? I think that's what sets off the verification process.

Nice! I think too many people just take the bank's word for it and give up. Nice to see you got the full amount sorted out.
