Clearly they don't process cashouts in the order they are received like they claim. I can undestand if they approve withdrawals in the order they were received but because of processing issues people receive their money at different times. What i have aeen so far is someone makes a request on the 4th, doesn't get approved till the 8th, yet someone who made a withdrawal on the 5th gets approved on the 7th.

Bank wire from 10/10 not yet received.
Got approval email on 10/14
Today is 10th business day - they gave me a window of 5 to 10 business days.

Still nothing.

My wire was sent out by the processor on the 16th (you receive this message in your account messages). I still have not received it. This is the 7th business day which is the longest I've had to wait so far.

When did you receive the "completed by processor" message? That is the most relevant one in terms of when you'll receive the wire. Just as an example, if you request 5 wires in immediate succession, all the emails will say "10 business days", but you won't receive the last wire for about 5 weeks or so since they send 1 per week.

Thanks for the heads up. This is the only wire I have in queue. I got the 'completed by processor' email on 10/14. 11 business days ago. I just called to ask about it and they told me to give it until Saturday.

Are you able to cash checks? I requested my first one and I'm extremely nervous. Especially because it's a large amount and it will be close to the amount already in my account.

What do you guys think I should do.. I am a broke college kid at the moment and the check I have coming in is for 800, which exceeds the money that I have in my bank account.. Will I have issues trying to deposit this check?

So I have a question regarding cashing out via check courier. Has anyone ever cashed out more then say 6 times in a year? Ever raised any red flags with your bank about where these checks are coming from?

Also, I've heard that you can receive there new debit card option? So do I just email them and ask if I can receive one?

It's not a big deal, there may be a hold on it, larger banks tend to clear the checks faster and on a bank to bank the time frame will be vastly different.

For over 6 times a year you should be fine.

Please post the results here after depositing the check.

I have cashed dozens of checks over the last couple of years, never had a single problem from my rather large bank.

Don't keep up with this thread like I used too, so I'm pretty sure this isn't standard, but I'm just checking.

I recently moved so I was forced to switch banks. I've probably deposited 10 checks from the north at my new bank. Two times I got charged a fee because it was a North check. Today I deposit another check and they're going to charge me the fee. I argue and they wave the fee "this time." This took like 15-20 minutes. My bank is a regional bank with 34 branches in the upper Midwest.

Getting charged a fee isn't normal is it?

I requested my withdrawal on 10/12
approved on 10/13 along with email stating may take up to 7 business days
successfully completed by our (bovada) end 10/21
10/28 still nothing

last month withdrawal request 9/22
received payment 9/30

I knew it was too good to be true after it was so quick last month. These are my first few withdrawals through Bovada and have had different results. I called them and when I finally got to talk to someone I could understand he told me that there was a problem with the visa fast pay or whatever its called. He gave me dates that the withdrawals were affected, cant remember the exact dates but they were a few weeks in October, but unfortunately mine fell in between.

Most banks do have fees on foreign checks.

Who knows. I do know that its hard for sites to process cash-outs to Americans. Every site that tries to struggles at times. It wasn't long ago that checks on Bovada were taking about a month. That was more inline with other US facing sites at the time. The last year or so with super fast cash-outs might have been the anomaly. They also have seen their player base grow a lot through word of mouth on poker forums like this one and the ineptitude of some of their competitors. Having to find ways to cleverly process double the withdraws or whatever the number is of what they were doing awhile ago might be having an effect. Perhaps its just a bump in the road. Perhaps this is the new norm. Some people immediately panic and claim that they are having money issues. The truth is, who knows, only insiders at Bovada would be able to definitively give you the particulars of what is exactly happening at any given time regarding changes in withdraw times.

Btw, a little while back we were discussing RT withdraws and the free monthly withdraw. I can confirm, at least confirm that Bovada CS has told me, that RT no longer is eligible to use as your free monthly withdraw. You get hit for $50 every time with a $400 1 per month cap, which makes it a pretty ****ty option obviously.

I'd say it's pretty normal. My bank used to be $1.50 up until about 2 years ago, then they bumped it up to $5.
