A customer service typo as the check would have been approved January 15, 2013 and he said he requested Jan 14th

Just wanted to chime in and say that with nearly half my checks (6+), the tracking # was delivered to my Bovada inbox AFTER the check was actually delivered. Most recently I did get tracking number before delivery.

6 checks? I have confidence these guys are trying to pay. All we should really hope for as US customers, is ability to cash in and out. Everything else is gravy.

This actually ended up happening to me. Woke up today with a tracking number in bovada and the delivery date was today. Deposited today, ATM would not accept check so had to go in.

No fee was deducted. Side note, these check cashing clerks look at you like your Bill Gates when you say you're picking up 2k. Had to go to 3 places, I'd recommend a grocery store.

Update on last check received was rejected by the ATM as an invalid check.First time for me with that one.

Went to a teller at my CU to deposit on that Wednesday, when I usually go there to deposit a check from a regular client. Brought both checks and the teller started to process my Bovada one as a foreign check and said there would be a $5 fee. Then she noticed the routing number is non-foreign, so she brought over a manager to figure out what to do. I said it was for some freelance software development I did for an Asian client online.

They processed it as foreign and made sure that they had my correct phone number on file to contact me if there was any problems (which made me a little nervous). A few minutes after getting home, the teller I dealt with called me and said that they processed it as an American check, the $5 fee would be removed, and that I was all set. Consequently, calming my nerves about the situation.

It's been over 2 weeks, and no bouncing... pretty soon I'll be able to use the funds.

grocery store obviously the best choice. or the bank in the grocery store. They are usually so busy trying to get you to sign up for a free checking with them that they dont seem to care about the WU transaction.

when picking up the WU do you get cash or money order from the place?

I think it depends on what outlet you're picking up from. Some stores have limit for cash.

it was interesting to note that all prior checks had been shipped via DHL, this one was via fedex. Fedex is the nuts compared to DHL. Bovada still on top of it in terms of payouts ;p

Same with my check I received on the 24th. Last time that happened check bounced, so hoping for better luck this time.

I requested a payout by rapid transfer (wu) yesterday.. today I received an email saying my payout will be sent via check by courier. The payments dept. Automatically changed my method of payout. I want wu, but the person I talked to said that I would first have to deposit by wu first. I think I remember reading some posts back that they were letting people withdrawal by wu even though they didnt deposit by that method. Is this true??? does it just depend on the bovada rep that you talk to?? Should I call back and speak to someone else?? Any help would be appreciated.. I cant do check because it causes to many problems. Thanks
