My last western union took 7 days as well. On day 5 they emailed me and asked to verify my adress which had not been changed in any way since recieving my previous 5+ payouts.

Got my check today. Slip of paper advising "do not cash check, must deposit into bank account..." Also it's from Singapore and neither of my banks accept international checks. Any advice??

Yes, check has US bank account and routing numbers so US check for depositing. Put mine in at big bank using ATM and I'll update if any issues.

The check cashing company said they had cashed a check from them before. It wound up coming back returned when they had already paid the recipient of the check. Said the company that issued me the check owed them $. Wish it were not true as now I have used my regular bank and they have placed 60 day hold. By time I will have access to my funds will have been 3 months minimal. And that's if all goes good and it is not returned.

New to bovada, will be cashing out soon. I'm leaning towards check since no fees once per month. What is the different between Money Transfer and Rapid Transfer?

MG = Rapid Transfer I guess

What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?
Only thing I can see is no fees for check vs fees for other 2. Also check hitting bank could be bad vs getting cash from the other 2?

I am having the same issue. Took to my original bank they really wanted nothing to do with it advised me to take to a local check cashing company who informed me that the company owed them $ from previously returned items and said until the company made good with them they refuse to $ anything from them. Took to another bigger bank who again refused to let me set up an account to $ it due to it being international.

Only way I found to get it cashed was since I have been member of my bank for so long they finally agreed to cash it but only if I would allow them to start a new account with it and place 60 day hold on the account. 8 days down 52 more to go

Just don't mention it from online poker. I've taken checks to several different banks and never had issues.

Beats the hell out of waiting 10 weeks for a check like I was on the merge network.

The advantages of each are simple...which one is closer to you? Use that one. WU can go up to 2k...MG only 800. Either one is better then a check if you dont mind paying a little vig. That way youll have green in your hand in about 2-4 days instead of a reciept from your bank dep with with a 10 day hold on the check it took 3 weeks to get...assuming it doesnt bounce. Bottom line is, how fast you want/need the cash.

Requested $400 money gram transfer on 06/11, it was approved 24 hours later, still have not received it. This is my first ever withdrawal on Bovada, pretty disappointed that I paid a huge fee and it's been nearly 2 weeks now without money in hand. Ridiculous that so many people on here are reporting requesting/receiving their MG payouts here after the date that I requested mine. I emailed support, they replied

"We are sincerely apologize that your payout was not delivered within the given timeframe. Kindly note that the time frame we provide is just an approximation and it is not guaranteed that it would be the actual time you will receive your payout since it is dependent on the volume of payout requests that we currently receive.

Please be advised that we are currently waiting for the sender's information and the control number from the provider. Once the information becomes available, an email notification will be sent to your Bovada account messages."
