What does this mean?

those are the states that have been attacking online poker...it means exactly what it says. People from those states won't be able to use that option.

Do others need to worry?

you should always be worried, it's the reality of online poker at the moment...if you're scared, I would recommend you not play online or keep very small amount

Ewallets used for poker and/or gambling have always been on thin ice in this country. I don't if it's the codes they use or something else but they get sniffed out faster than other deposit/payout methods.

Check cleared this morning surprisingly, my bank usually puts a hold on these checks. I just talked to my bank and was told the funds cleared. I'm going to leave the money in my account another week to make sure.

So, I requested a payout of 2,000.I never did receive the tracking number from bodog but I did receive the Check fed ex in about 12 business days. Heres the issue. My bank cant verify the funds or that the bank on the check even exists and refuse to take it. Along with every check cashing place in my city. I called Bovada and the rep was very nice and genually seemed concerned. She verified the phone number on the check was the correct one but couldnt explain why no EVER picks up at this bank. I was told they would investigate the issue and get back with me. I have neVer felt like such an idiot before...I really believed I would get my money.
Any others have similar stories...possibal solution? If I cant get my money what can I do to...who to tell about this so that bOVADA IS HELD ACCOUNTABLE?

tell them to send a different check if you're really worried about this check...please do not do anything rash like call the cops (you could end up getting yourself in trouble). I'm sure Bodog WANTS to pay you. Be patient and make a solution with Bodog.

thanks for your reply...for the record,I dont deal with the country cops in my little town..your right when you say it would cause me trouble. I just hate that Im out not only my winnings,but the money Ive spent to get it and after. Huge let down. Ive never really won anything before and as of now still havent.
Also,its not like Im worried about the check...I havent been givin a chance to worry about it clearing...no one will take it because there is no way to contact the bank on the check. (for a solid week the banks voicemail picks up when called) My pride and my pocket are hurting right about now. Im in this forum hoping that someone has been down this road and can save me a little leg work in finding the solution. It sucks I liked playing on Bovada,lol.

you're not "out" anything, they will pay you...patience is going to be your number one requirement though.

Step 1) Tell Bodog your bank is refusing to take the check. Go from there

anyone else from MD get an email/phone call that bovada will no longer service MD players and that they have to do an out of state cashout? This sucks

Do western union cash outs 2k cashout is a $150 free takes less then 24 hours to get your money

when you say it only takes 24 hours to get your money, thats not true. it takes 24 hours for bovada to process it to mpl but i've been waiting for 2 weeks on mpl to actually send the money.

He's prob using WU directly, not mpl

Its very True have gotten over 20 successfull WU payouts under 24 hours. TT

WU took like 3 hours for me man. Longest it took was maybe 8 hours. Until MD got screwed

also, tried to cash out via check 2 days ago. got an email this morning saying it would be processed through mpl. i called support and they told me there is no way i can get a check and all my cashouts will go through mpl unless i make a deposit with a credit card. wtf

Yes, about 36 hours last Saturday. My previous check was in less than 24, and received it in the standard 4 weeks. It cleared (yeah).

FYI, there was no email sent, check your Account page on the www.bovada website, the message was in my account messages page without me knowing for the last couple days.

They haven't sent emails with a tracking # in a long time.
