I know, I said that cuz I saw someone else that requested on the same day as me say they didn't have a tracking # yet. Just wanted em to check their "account messages" section.

So far I'm as pleased as can be expected. They seem to be doing right by US players at this point.

Still missing a bankwire payout from early January. I'm not really concerned about Bodog's insolvency... I've received a couple later wires & checks after this particular withdrawal. It's more a competency issue: it's become increasingly frustrating that support does absolutely nothing to resolve this issue and keeps giving me the runaround for more than 3 months. I'm assuming it was a 3rd party processor that's at fault for not properly following through, but it's still Bodog/Bovada's responsibility

So we're not allowed to post bank names. Well, I've just gotten back into doing okay at Bovada, and was thinking of a test cashout with a check by courier.

However, my bank is apparently "notoriously" hammering down on cashouts, even freezing people's accounts who try to cash out there.

Am I basically stuck trying to cash out at my bank, or randomly opening bank accounts elsewhere so that I can try at a variety of places? Has anyone been in a similar situation (where your bank has a rep for shutting down accounts), and what did you do?

I was going to deposit with MG, no fee over 300 and suppose to cashout the same way. Do they do MG and WU or can you only withdrawl with WU because I didn't see that as a deposit method?

Most people complain about payout delays on Bovada's side of things. I'm looking for information about how to make sure it goes through on the banks' end.

Questions I'd love to get some answers to (mind you these are all US-oriented):

1. Do courier checks get accepted more often than wire transfers?
2. Does/might the amount of the check affect whether it will be accepted?
3. Do banks have a mandate to reject payouts, just as they have a mandate to reject deposits to gambling sites?
4. How often are checks rejected? Does it vary by state?
5. Are some banks less likely than others to accept a check? Do people actually know which banks these are? (Obviously this would be a question to answer via PM if a specific bank was named, and feel free to PM me with an answer.)
6. What is the difference between "money transfer" and "rapid transfer"?

Has anyone on here ever had a huge win and payout? If so how much? Did you collect it all?

I have been a loyal player for years and yes there have been delays over the years with payouts but I have had over 15k in payouts this year all in checks and no issues at all. I get my checks on Friday every week from banks in Canada. I just won a jackpot for 45k and was thinking about the wire transfer option but I think I will just continue to get my weekly checks. My bank gives me funny looks when I bring them in but they always clear. If they are drawn on Canadian banks with Canadian routing numbers it takes a few weeks to collect. Some Canadian checks have U.S. routing numbers on them and my bank cashes those immediately. With such a large payout this time though it worries me. I dont want to get in trouble. I would rather just pay taxes on the money so there is no issue.

I am having a heck of a hard time trying to get the money owed to me by Bovada. If you read the string of e-mails below, you will see that I am completely frustrated and feel like I'm getting the run-around. For some reason Bovada's customer service dept cannot tell me when my next check will arrive and for how much. As you can see they are skirting the question.

Being that I have payout requests pending dating back to January, I made an inquiry about having the 14 pending payouts wired to me rather than sent by check. As you can read below, Bovada wants to charge me an additional $40 per check to stop payment, even though they haven't even cut the check yet. 14 pending payouts multiplied by the $40 charge equals $560. On top of this Bovada wants to charge me $50per wire transfer. Being that they owe me $27k it will require 6 wire transfers a $50 per pop. 6 multiplied by $50 equals $300.

All of this on top of the 25 payout requests (you get 1 free payout request per month) where I was charged $50 per request. 25 multiplied by $50 equals $1,250. Let's not forget the 5% charge Bovada charges on deposits made into the poker acct. In my case I paid another $1,034 in deposit fees.

To recap this scam, for me to receive my money via wire transfer and to recap all fees associated with depositing and cashing out on Bovada is as follows:

$1,250 to process cashout requests
$1,034 in fees to deposit into my poker accts via credit card
$560 Stop pmt fees to cancel checks if I decide to use wire transfer
$300 fee to use wire service instead of check

Total amount reuired to spend in order to receive my money owed to me in the fastest possible way: $3,144

To put this in perspective I just paid $3,000 for my daughter's first car. Somtheing is real wrong here.

Thanks for contacting Bovada Customer Service.

We appreciate you taking the time to write to us about your concerns. We would gladly answer them one by one.

First, since we are going to cancel the payout requests made, a $40 Stop Payment Fee for each request is necessary. We would like to confirm that since these payout requests are already in process, to cancel them would mean that we would re-process the payouts from the start. This entails a new service charge from our providers, thus, the $40 Stop Payment Fee for each.

Second, each bank wire payout is subject to a $50 processing fee per increment. Since the maximum payout amount for this method is $5000, then there would be 6 increments via this option and each would have a $50 processing fee. Only when these payout requests get approved via Bank Wire would you be charged the $50 fee for each increment. The $50 fee that you have paid for was for the Check by Courier method, since we only offer one free payout per calendar month. Since the other payout requests were made within the same month, a $50 fee was charged for the other checks.

Third, a maximum of one Bank Wire would be sent every 10 business days.

Lastly, should you decide not to cancel the payout requests, the average time frame for this is 15 business days. Please note that this is just an estimate and may not reflect the actual date that you would receive your payments.

Again, we do apologize for the inconveniences that this may have caused you. Rest assured that you would be receiving your payments soon.

Thank you for your email. Should you have any questions, or require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thanks for the quick response....

I think I need some clarification prior to making my decision.

1) Are you saying that I would have to pay a $40 Stop Payment fee per payout transaction? To clarify, I have 14 pending payouts. Even though the checks have yet to be cut would I still be assessed the $40 fee for each of the 14 pending payouts? $40x 14 pending payouts, or $560?

2) I'm owed over $27,000. Are you saying I would be charged an additional $50 per transaction if wired to me, in increments of $5,000. This would be 6 separate wires sent at $50, is this correct? Didn't I already pay Bovada $50 to process each of these 14 pending payouts?

3) How quickly can I receive all $27,000 if sent to me by wire?

Please clarify....Lastly, if I choose to receive my payouts via chack, when will I receive my next check, and for how much?

Dear Mr.
Thanks for contacting Bovada Customer Service.

We thank you for taking the time to contact us with your concerns. In regard to your payout requests with the following Reference Numbers:
for the amount of $2994 made on February 16, 2012

for the amount of $2907 made on February 18, 2012

for the amount of $2153 made on February 19, 2012

for the amount of $2257 made on March 4, 2012

for the amount of $1950 made on March 7, 2012

for the amount of $2517 made on March 13, 2012

We kindly advise you that as per our policy we may only process 1 check per 7 day period, therefore payouts that are back to back such as the three you have from the 16th, 18th and 19th of February will all be processed once it's predecessor is processed. Hence, the one on the 18th will only be processed 7 days after the one on the 16th has been processed, and this applies all the way through to the final request on March 13. We truly apologize for the inconvenience, and greatly appreciate you patience and understanding in this matter.

We kindly remind you that the timeframe for processing is an approximation of 15 business days for payouts via our Check by Courier method. As you are aware, we are experiencing slight delays with the processing of our payouts. In now way is this intentional, if there was an option to have your money delivered to you within an hour, we would have it available. Because of the restrictions and difficulties that the US government provides in regard to online gaming, these timeframes are unavoidable. We definitely understand your frustration in this regard, and apologize once again for the inconvenience.

If you are interested in having these remaining payout requests sent to you through Bank Wire, then we would have to issue a Stop Payment for each check and each would have a $40 fee associated. As well, each payout may have a approximate 15 business day timeframe to process; an exception may be made, but there is no guarantees that will be made. As well, we kindly inform you that the maximum per transfer with a Bank Wire is $5000, therefore this transfer for the sum of your remaining payouts will most definitely be broken down in to increments of $5000. Also, there a $50 fee per increment for this method, and there is an approximate 15 business days to process the Bank Wire.

If you would like us to move forward with having your remaining payout requests processed to be sent by Bank Wire, please let us know by calling our Customer Service Department at 1-888-263-0000, as we are unable to do so via email.

We truly appreciate the time you took to write you concern to us, and greatly appreciate your patience in this matter. We understand the frustration that arises with having all the timeframes associated with requesting payouts, but they unavoidable at this time.

Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Department at 1-888-263-0000.

Subject: Slow Payout Process!!! NEED ANSWERS!!!!

To Bovada Customer Service:

I would like to start out this e-mail by saying that I really enjoy playing your poker site. The site itself is very user friendly and easy on the eyes.

In the latter part of 2011, I began playing on your site (actually the Bodog site). I literally bring in thousands of dollars in rake to your site, and my guess is that I'm probably one of your better customers.

While playing on your site in 2011, I found that the cashout process seemed very reliable and the payouts usually were received within 10-15 days. In 2012, the payout process has been just the opposite---Slow, sporadic, and unreliable. This really concerns me because I was a customer of Full Tilt and was burned by them in which I still haven't received the money owed to me. I’ve heard every excuse in the book from your customer service reps, from we’re slow paying due to the Super Bowl, etc, etc, etc.

I have attached a spreadsheet that details the 28 payout requests that I have submitted since December 21, 2011 to present. In total the amount of the 28 payout requests is $51,664. Of the 28 payout requests, I have only been paid on14 of them, totaling $23,878. Still pending are 14 requests totaling $27,786. Of the pending 14 payouts owed to me, 11 payouts are past the 15 business day timeframe that your site promised that I would receive my money. These 11 payouts total $21,012.

I have made several calls to your customer service department and am being told that I will receive my money shortly, which for the most part hasn't happened. To say I'm frustrated is an understatement. Even more frustrating is that I am charged a $50 processing fee to handle each of my cashout requests, which is immediately taken from my account at the time of the cashout request. This means on the 28 cashout requests, Bovada has taken $1,150 from my account to process these payouts, AND I still don't have my money.

On the attached spreadsheet I have detailed all of the transactions since December 21, 2011. As you will see there is alot of money involved here. I was told by one of your customer service reps that you may be able to wire what’s owed to me directly to my bank account. What steps do I need to take to make this happen?

I would appreciate an immediate response, and swift resolution to this problem. What I would like to know is when I will receive my next check or checks, and for how much. I would also like to know if wiring me my money is an option.

I would keep doing checks over wires.

Wires have been notoriously slow/unable to come in for the past 4-5 months. Will be faster just to get $3k/week in checks then to get $5k every 3 weeks if you're lucky.

For those waiting on a check or confirmation #:

Bovada's estimate for delivery is 15 Business Days, not 15 regular days.

And the panic cashouts from the bodog seizure might be slowing the process.
Dont forget to check your messages at bovada instead of depending on an email. It will come.
If your bank questions you about international checks, tell em you make $ from internet marketing or something obscure a bank teller would be too dumb to understand. My favorite is "working on a patent so legally I have to keep it classified" gl

I would also like to know if wiring me my money is an option.
sick i dont even want to win the 100k now if i cant get my total money for months and months. This problem ur having has me 2nd guessing about depositng my hard earned money onto the site.

Check approved 3/2/12

Still waiting. Today is the 14th business day, not concerned just updating.

Edit: No tracking number either.

Check requested 2/28
approved 2/29
received 3/21

I intend to drop it in my bank's ATM asap.

It is a check from an Asian country. There is no indication on the back that I am to endorse it (as is customary with U.S. checks).

Has anyone encountered this and, if so, did you sign the check on the back or not?

I would just sign the back of it anyway.

The problem lies in making so many requests in short spurts. If you would have requested one payout for 8k via check in Feb and 7.7k in March. You would two 3k and one 2k checks on the way for Feb and two 3k and one 1.7k checks for March. Don't switch to wires because that is only going to prolong your wait.

I've never withdrew my money from Western Union before and I'm curious about the process. I recently updated my Bovada account to my new address (I moved two months ago) However, my driver's license doesn't match my current address and if I plan to withdrawal my money in the next two weeks, how would that work? Would I still be allowed to get my money through Western Union even though my ID doesn't match my address on Bovada? Can I use my driver's license and some other form of statement such credit card statement that shows my new address as verification when I go pick up my money through Western Union?

Any info is greatly appreciated.
