are there any videos of Vanessa Selbst with the nuts? Does she play as aggro when she has a set? cause I feel like she wouldn't. It has to be so obvious when she has air lol.

Limping premiums against her must be like printing.

Great movie. Great scene. But aren't they playing limit?

The game of the moment is No Limit which rewards aggression. Men on average are more aggressive than women. This is not saying that women are not excellent players and can't be hyper-aggressive (see Vanessa Selbst) but the game that is currently the most popular rewards aggression.

Also, men are also more apt to take bigger risks. Ponying up 10k is a big risk.

And anyone that says that poker can't survive without women hasn't been paying attention. It's thriving. Everyone can agree that the game would be better off if there were more female players. But I don't see it happening.

I'm all for Ali's idea of staker and stakee dressing up like horse and jockey, and whipping his horse from the rail.

Love it

Yeah, I agree with the part about limit games. Where limit games are still being spread, you are much more likely to see women still in these games.

This is part of the chicken/egg/death spiral problem. NL became so popular as to drive out the limit games, but now the lack of limit games is driving away the portion of the potential audience that might be drawn to poker, but not drawn to NL.

Because Staples was making fun of the guy's last name, Mountain, so Mr. Mountain decided to also fail at being witty.
