I don't hate Pollak's fold, at this point in the tournament when pay jumps are $30k+ is it that crazy for players to check back trips in that spot at least some amount of the time? If anything the weirdest play in the hand to me is Phan raising the river with just top pair.

The weirdest part was Pollak saying he should have check-folded to someone who hadn't put an initial bet out once the entire hand.

And Phan looked very uncomfortable to me after that raise. It worked but it was a bad play by him. It might help him get a light call later.

I do agree with the majority, the Pollack fold was bad.

Just an observation, but it seems like there are more fully-tattoed dudes this year this deep in the Main compared to year's past.

Interesting to me because the experiences at my tables in the past has been the fully tatted guys usually haven't much game and bust Day 1 lol.
