Hello, I don't know if this is the right section of the forum, but I thought it was related to poker ''gossip'' so that's why I opened the thread here, however mods, feel free to move in other sections if necessary.
I organised (together with my friends) a fantasy-poker game based on WSOP tournaments. I'm italian, here in Italy we have a very popular game, called ''fantacalcio'' (fantasy football game) in which we try to guess what footballers will play better, match after match, according to the marks of the most famous sport newspapers. So we tried to do the same thing with poker. Rules are:
-ten players for every team
-points are the $ that the player will win in the tournament, so every ITM= points
-the team can change tournament after tournament, and every player can be selected
-the team must be comunicated the day before the start of the selected tournament, within 23:59 (italian time)
-every team will have a ''captain'' who will earn double points in case of ITM

I think that the best strategies are: 1) trying to guess what players will effectively play the tournament (but it's not that easy to know), 'cause no partecipation=no points obviously 2) trying to have an advantage by selecting strong players that almost no other team will select, since most of the teams will almost always select well known players like Ivey and Hellmuth.

Event #57: No-Limit Hold'em / Six Handed $10.000
Event #59A: No-Limit Hold'em - $1.000

Event #61A: No-Limit Hold'em Main Event $10.000

so let's start with the first: who do you think will surely (or almost surely) play 50k$ 8game event?
