Guess rooting for Mads Amot then, I think he's been around online forever?

Yes, depending on where you lived. I started playing poker in WA state where it’s all limit only.

Forgot to add, the biggest games on the east coast also tend to be limit games in the 75/150+ so a lot of the east coast players, that do play pro tend to play limit games. You can see it in McKeehan and also Ian Johns others.

Because it's fun to see well-known and skilled players play. If they are eliminated you can't see them play anymore, thus one roots for them.

It's not that I really hope to see Ike Haxton win more money, I'd rather see that money in anyone else's pocket tbh - it's that I want to see him play PLO.

This Ian Matakis guy is pretty good at low buy-in no limit tournaments.

He took back the POY lead from Deeb by cashing 15th in the millionaire maker then immediately got 20th in the online 888 event.

Happy for mercier to come back and straight up win a nl 2-7sd event. Interesting his interview afterwards in which he concluded nl mtts have gotten way tougher and he prefers to solely focus on mix now. Makes alot of sense considering the rise of solvers and training material for the avg player.

Shame u dont see 2-7sd spread in many places, it is a fun game to play.

from the chatter, it's basically a foregone conclusion the ME will get over 9k runners. Effel and Co. are preparing for upwards of 10.5k runners
