I think they will let PS handle the cashout using FTP client. PS already had experience doing this, don't think it will take very long since they obviously have the money.

Probably because it wasn't an 'official' announcement by any company/government representative. I'm sure they (they representing the DoJ) would rather it be hush hush until the announcement.

I just sent Stars an email. It was 2 words in the largest font I could use.

Thank You

Maybe wait until they actually announce something before you go thanking them for something an inside source has leaked.
07-27-2012 , 05:37 PM
lol its not even official yet, you guys really need to relax.
07-27-2012 , 05:38 PM
what is going to happen to all those people making phantom deposits for a few months before black friday?
07-27-2012 , 05:39 PM
Apparently I missed 5 pages, but other than this conjecture

... has there been anything that officially or independently verifies this?

I believe it's official, signed, sealed and delivered! The press release on Monday will only announce what we already know.
07-27-2012 , 05:39 PM
Well its been about roughly 4 hours since this news broke, its all over twitter.... I think that someone from PS or DOJ wouldve said something and plus.... it wouldnt be on DFs website and twitter if something wasnt going down.

And they might be disappointed that even if this actually goes through, there's no guarantee that they will be getting 100% of their balance. I'm hopeful, but I wouldn't be buying any yachts quite yet. A lot of people seem ready to spend their FT point balance as well, which I'd be shocked to get reimbursed for.

LOL @ thinking FTP points have any sort of value at this point in time.

They know what info is out there. No denials have been issued.

Because as you point out, there is no official announcement, I did not specify what I was thanking them for.

Can you imagine the uproar if this goes thru but Stars doesnt have to pay in full/honor FTP's? What ROW player would ever play there again without being fully reimbursed especially after Stars fully paid back USA last year?

Always one of these guys..... I would say 98.99999% of us are going to be happy just to see any type of money from FTP that we had locked up.

Money will be returned 100% obv if the deal goes through, it's the only just/fair way and especially since the rumours that one of the reasons why PS stepped in was because if FTP players got stiffed the online poker world would take a major hit and nobody would trust the companies again.

Points, we'll see. Did US players get full refunds for FPPs/milestones?

I'd buy FTP points 10c on the dollar right now from trustworthy people... And I'm sure many others would too.

I think there was some kinduv cut-off or rounding done so people didn't get full value (or anything in some cases) but most people got something.
