Is pokerfuse even legit?
07-27-2012 , 07:30 PM
I really wish people would stop linking to Gambling911.com. They've announced that everyone's getting their money back like 15 times since Black Friday, they're not a real news source.

Every time they do it they get a few thousand hits to their website and that's all they care about, they're fraudulent.

sigh

cant wait for DF news

maybe if G911 gets $330 million in ad revenue they'll repay everyone themselves?

Tempering until cast iron set in stone and unbreakable is good advice but have Pokerfuse broke anything of significance on this subject? With the exception of DF's contributions, the Wendeen article is the most solid piece of information we've had during this whole shtfest.

Well, gambling911, who was going to say O_O, is the one citing source, judge Laura Taylor Swain, reason, Motion to Intervene related to the probe of Full Tilt Poker, and state, deal done.

Can we take off the t-shirts and start to rub monies in THAT place?

Good or bad, I can't wait for this thread get padlocked and slowly descend to page 1,000, like a violent dictator's remains being lowered into the ground. #WhitePeopleProblems

Directly from gambling911- "Gambling911.com receives first dibs on this story minutes before the official announcement comes out so stay tuned." We should email that guy who wrote this and tell him to STFU.... I think that same goes for Pokerfuse, as they just piggyback news.

There was a motion to stay all of the MTd's and what not until Stars responds to the fugitive dis entitlement interrogatory. I think, but am not positive, that ftp's motion is covered in that.

I'd have to dub check the motion, which I'm not doing right now.

Points go away. Points are like a "Loyalty" program. Like American Airlines AAdvantage. They are worth money, I can use them for tickets. But if American got acquired, they new parent company can do away with the program and all of the miles.

As a matter of fact, American can terminate the program, create a new one... And the miles in the old program go away.

They likely wont do this... because it would piss off the most loyal customers. But I am sure Pokerstars sees this the same way. They can choose to pay them off, or toss them.

I think people should be glad to get the money in the accounts. I think pushing for points is just being greedy. I am guessing most people pushing for points, ONLY have points. Ie, losing players that want to grab whatever they can out of their old bone dry FTP account.

FTP points were friggin' worthless anyway.

Pokerfuse has been run by a small team of 2p2ers for over a year. It's published over 600 articles, and been first in the industry for dozens of breaking stories. It predates subject: poker and diamondflushpoker and its only goal has been to publish accurate news stories and cater to online poker professionals. It has an impeccable history for journalistic integrity.

Fwiw it was also the first to write a Full Tilt/PokerStars story--http://pokerfuse.com/news/poker-room...lt-settle-doj/--buy our history and sources stretch well beyond the US situation.

If we wanted to order what happened on April 24 I think it went PSFTP > Alex@chilli > pokerfuse > wickedchops. but it's irrelevant, an agreement was signed on that day and for tha reason 6+ sources confirmed what happened.
