wouldn't that be a terrible breach of NDA if somebody disclosed that?! I'd have to imagine if there was such an email, nobody would be allowed to say anything about it, and if someone leaked it, they'd face sever repercussions.

Saw this. Very exciting. Filed yesterday, approved today by judge sand.

Cardroom int'l claims going forward though.

Consideration of motions to dismiss stayed as well, pending pstars response to interrogatories.

Note that these were all filed yesterday and approved today.

Kentucky claim seems to be great news. Other two filings are hard to interpret in a positive or negative way. But it's just worth noting that those docs were submitted yesterday, so maybe before it was finalized. Or maybe pstars responded to the interrogatories today, so now the settlement could be finalized.

Either way, I'm feeling good about this.

One does not simply deny a ZBTHorton inquiry.

You should thank Laurent Tapie for stalling himself to oblivion. Otherwise we may end up with the crappy GBT deal.

She was not first to say the Tapie deal fell apart but she was miles ahead of anyone else in reporting the details and facts. In this day and age where major media outlets rush raw speculation to air or print it is refreshing and to see her reporting go from good to excellent over the span of this incident was enjoyable to watch.

Nothing is done until it is done. People who have experience making deals know things can happen that can screw things up. So while the ink dries it pays to be patient. Getting the report now will have zero impact on the reality of the deal. It still will or will not happen in the same time frame.
Just wanna say huge +1

As a hardcore lurker of this thread and others regarding this saga, wanted to express my gratitude to DF and her efforts. In an industry so easily overcome by short sighted and oppurtunistic "publishing" her diligence is refreshing.

A DF appreciation thread is in order IMO regardless of outcome. Notice she once again is first to the point and promise's news(good or bad) in the coming days, not today. Remaining ambiguous and objective.

Once again, GLGLGL errr'body!!!!!

Is it pure coincidence that Preet Bharararara was on Charlie Rose last night talking about all the sweet things the DoJ has been up to lately?

I genuinely have no idea and didn't mean it to be some kind of important announcement. I know that Stars employees have talked about the buyout before on different conference calls with some of the higher ups, so it's not like nobody talks about it at all.

Plus, obviously Stars has spoken to it's employees about the situation in some capacity, they have to talk to people who can tell them how long it will take to get FTP back up or the people to write an announcement or whatever really.

Hopefully the year-ish of negotiations means that they've had time to set the groundwork for a relatively quick turnaround on the cashouts. We know that they'll have 90 days, but I'm cautiously optimistic about it being a fraction of that.

Potentially, we'll get further details on the cashout timeline in the announcement, but I'm not holding my breath for anything definitive on the timing.

I'm doubtful that they'll compensate points/medals/bonuses/whatever in any way, but I'd imagine it's possible.

I can't wait to never open this thread ever again.
