i did read all those but its still odd. they're all referring to the redline btw, i was talking about SDW. even though they are by default related that doesn't mean they have to go in opposite directions you know?

Like a few $k in side bets is gonna make any difference to him
I can imagine this has really fired sauce up and I hope he comes back to win

why does this make him look bad - if he thinks he's going to win and is giving (in his eyes) improper odds to make money, what's wrong with that? obv the fact that a bunch of people took the action should indicate that nothing about it makes him "look bad".

just no need to do it imo as it shows a lack of respect...obv maybe your right(and maybe it tilts sauce a little)
surely he's set to win enough in the match thou if he thinks his edge is so big

maybe he just wants more action and likes to add on some pressure to win?

u guys criticize wcg rider way too much. It'd be a much better thread if u guys stopped speculating and assumed the worst about each player's personality and intentions and instead focused on how interesting the match is.

WCG what kind of odds would you offer sauce to bet against himself?

man what a great challenge. two great players who both come across really well. the format is just great; 15k hands is like the perfect sample, and a 5 buy in sidebet seems about right as well to keep the incentives in line. to those of you saying 15k isn't "enough", the goal of the challenge is not to be extremely confident that the final bb/100 is close to the "true" winrate; both are aware that variance will make up a part. rather just take it as one long match ppl!

also, it's just super interesting to see two distinct strats battle each other. and it seems like they'll get 15k hands done in a few weeks, kudos to both.

lol nvg. How does putting his money where his mouth is make him look bad?

It makes him look a little cocky, but we already knew that. He thinks he's the best in the world and put up a bunch of money against a top player to back up his **** talk and is now willing to buy more action. Compare that to the douches who go deep in one donkament and call themselves great poker players in ESPN interviews or whatever.

+2 to what Syous said. This thread had/has awesome potential.

We do not care about your opinion on WCG, and at this point its beaten to death.
