surely he's set to win enough in the match thou if he thinks his edge is so big
what in the world are you talking about? this isn't like running up the score in football...the end goal of a professional gambler is to make money. That's like telling the top salesman to quit selling since he's made "enough". ???

we are all entitled to our own opinions...and I agree with some of the points made (not the bs above btw ,however the fact remains ...wcg making a few k extra offering 7:1 (letting everyone know what a big edge he thinks he has) makes no real financial reward (relatively), so it suggests either an ulterior motive (to wind sauce up) or more likely his ego getting the better of him ...come on sauce...
..yeah im sure ill get bombarded with the 'please don't knock our hero' wcg brigade again

Like a few $k in side bets is gonna make any difference to him
I can imagine this has really fired sauce up and I hope he comes back to win
Keep in mind Rider was up 20BI at the time with 10k hands left to play. Someone needs to run a variance simulator to confirm, but Rider probably doesn't need a big edge (or even a >0 edge) for the bet to be at least breakeven at 7:1.

Yeah, he's going to have a bigger chance than what a variance simulator gives too since he has the option of playing tighter if he's still up a small amount with few hands to go

UK is Eastern Time + 5, Europe is +6. So 6pm Frankfurt for example.

As a Canadian, those time zones look great to me.

We have multicoloured money made of plastic, which is better than purple.

I'm baffled by WCG-hate. Go look at his amazingly helpful beginners posts over in the BQ forum. To me, he's a huge contributor and deserves 2+2 forum respect. Confident? Uh, playing for millions against a very good opponent, that's a prerequisite.

Both of these guys deserve respect for showing what a fun poker HU challenge looks like. It takes two to tango, and they're showing what spectator friendly poker can look like. If there is a future in high stakes appointment matches, this is a preview. We're a beer commercial in the live stream away, if it could ever work.
