I think they probably determined the perps by Friday night. It's not hard to take a database of approx 4k people's players cards (which include all that nice license data you give up when getting the card) and run those through the federal crime database. It would not be hard to narrow the list down by filtering out the players with gaming crimes, theft, robbery, etc. I guess one or more of those people made the final 27 (or which ever one was flushing chips down the toilet at Harrahs), they leak the person (we assume) who assisted on the inside, that person spills the beans when they realize they are looking at a long time in jail. Arrest warrants are issued and now we wait for more.
