DN has way too much $ coming in from other avenues, is already surely obscenely rich, and something coming out that suggests he isn't the most ethical virtuous person in poker would lead to him killing himself. Also, why on earth would someone want DN to play their account when they could get someone actually good?
What if Dnegs was invited in the private game, but had a high stakes crusher use his account instead?

What if the high stakes crusher was invited but due to the tough field he let Negreanu play? After all he almost beat nl5k.

This thread sucks not because of the participants, but because of Perkins wanting to be an attention whore and creating mass hysteria because he is bored during a pandemic. I'd rather read some more Chino gossip.

Why doesn't someone with a large poker twitter following just go tweet and ask possible candidates if it was them? So for example Doug Polk tweets at Negranu and says "Was it you?" Does it to Galfond, Jason Koon, any big name pro etc.

Process of elimination. The culprit will not lie at this point and say it wasn't him because then Perkims would instantly out him. Could at least eliminate a lot of possible culprits.

So 355 posts in, do we know who he is referring to?

They could not respond to the tweet. "not lying"

I like Bill Perkins. A whale, that seems pretty cool. Decent player too.

But running a twitter poll and dropping breadcrumbs is no Alpha move whatsoever. I mean, you don't see Alphas and USA Presidents all over twitter whining and... Oh. Wait.

Not a clue here. We're in an opening moment of a SNL skit, before the cast has smartened-up the viewing public?

Bill deleted the poll

According to the tweet, the person that was the worst offender apparently was threatening the other players to keep quiet otherwise their personal business would be leaked out for everyone to see.

So, there were four choices asking the Twitterverse what he should do with regards to the cheater.

Out him for everyone, or drop it were two of the choices.

Why oh why did I waste my time reading this. Please mods lock and save others from making the same mistake.

Who cares at this point. Attention seeking Perkins creates a huge poker controversy, explains pretty much nothing and we all waste 2 days of our time following it. Figures.

lol, that’s the one SNL skit I’ve kept on my TiVo all these years since it first aired.

The "drama" in this thread is worthy of the build up for PPV matches in the WWE.

But what if it was Polk

Bill might have a sequel out of this, "Expose with zero, die with leverage".
05-24-2020 , 08:15 PM
Not surprised that over 24 hours later posts nothing of value..He should have kept his mouth shut or if he truly was certain of it outed this person. Poker and the gambling scene in general is full of scum bags so one more being persona non grata would be welcomed.

Seems as soon as the ghosting dipshit squad starts threatening to drop the nukes on other parties, you can't blame Billy for holding back.

But as a spectator I prefer to see the cheater exposed + all the nukes dropped.

Bad look for BP.

Not outing the cheater is bad news especially when you put the poker world on notice. It’s not only a poker problem but one in society.

Very similar to the women who early on signed NDAs and took a cash settlement from Harvey Weinstein. They got their restitution and stayed silent but HW was able to continue his despicable behavior. Big banks that were forced to pay huge fines but no one went to jail. If you can pay your way out of a problem, then it’s all good.

BP got his. Move along. Nothing to see here.

+1.

There is usually a payoff though. Or a terrible match that just confuses everyone.

Here it's probably a little bit of both due to terrible booking.

If the multiaccounter/ghost player is not Negreanu, it's basically a non-story.
05-24-2020 , 08:31 PM
This thread sucks. I lost all respect for Perkins.
