Do you just suck at logic? You said - and repeated - that every province is phasing out mandates. That is factually incorrect as I have explained to you twice. Telling me about one province that is phasing them out obviously doesn't make your statement correct.

This is largely irrelevant, and I don't even mind you ****ed up the first time on the basic facts, but tripling down on your error is just ridiculous.

BC being the last province to hold on to a mandate isn't particularly a ringing endorsement on Trudeau trucker vaccine mandate.

I think there is a 50/50 shot it gets thrown out March 15th when BC wakes up and they are the last mandate province.

Making (fairly obvious) predictions about the future doesn't magically make your false statement correct.

If its fairly obvious that BC will throw out the mandate rather soon than I don't see a problem with me saying:

Within context of Trudeau's trucker mandate.

Ok, I will rephrase to say nearly all provinces have announced phasing out the mandate within next 30 days or less.

Yes. That would not prevent what I am saying. The Truckers are cloistered in groups that can be encircled by the military.

Ahhh Kimberley makes sense. Still just a quick hop back to AB.

The Maritimes are gorgeous and rugged but damn cold in winter.

Quebec is the most beautiful city in N.America imo.

If the Province had a warmer winter I might have moved there instead of to BC as I do love PQ. Then Tien and I could be besties.

I grew up in maritimes, it is not close to as cold as Alberta. But they get huge dumps of snow regularly that sucks.

Yeah, the Kootenays will be a nice way to start for you as a semi-BCer. Lots of Albertans (probably 50% or more of the summer population, LOL), rural politics, and even the same time zone!

Still luxury house building? I remember that BFI thread.

You must have made a killing buying lots before the pandemic and seeing house prices explode.

I am more of a city skyscraper guy. Don't like low rise cities too much. Quebec city is very beautiful though.

Are you fluent in French or very good? English speaking Cannucks don't quite enjoy Quebec too much as a home.

Wheel barrels of cash. I built 4 houses last year and lost money on 2 of the 4 . The other two are break even. The two I am building here this year have small profits

That is the funny thing about all this affordable housing stuff. If you can not control costs.......

Yeah nonsensical junk like politicians should deliver on what they promise.

Actually the opposite. We had some lots but did not build the first year of the pandemic. The last two costs are through the roof and selling prices have not kept up. I only do infills and many of the infill builders are taking a break. Lumber alone is up 300%

Though the lots we bought in Kimberley good be a gold mine for us.

My neighbour does tear-downs - he's put it on hold and is doing kitchen reno's for the past 2 years: making more money, dealing with less subcontractors and only working indoors.

I think as a young family if you knew a trade or teacher, nurse or doctor areas like the Kootenays and East Coast are great places to move.

See lots of adds for Nova Scotia on TV trying to attract folks
