Trouble: Online poker web sites seized by the FBI (Stars + Tilt included) - Page 11 - Internet Poker

I just logged into Pokerstars and got this pop-up (approximately): Pokerstars popup: "Sorry, playing poker on line for real money is not legal in your area."

Then I logged in again and got logged in as usual (still logged in; wonder what will happen when I get back).

I'm keeping my roll online in UK b/c it seems better than having it in limbo and 'pending' and ****. I don't think it will be an issue to us as we use a separate payment processor and the FBI don't have jurisdiction here.

so stars & ft is going to get shut down for good or just in the u.s??... so much people still playing on stars currently, i see like no americans umm what is the situation overall, these sites getting shut down for good or???

Still able to play on Full Tilt, maybe they cant "flip the switch" as quickly as Stars to deny U.S. players.

I am UK based and when I click withdraw at ftp I also get the message that 'unable to connect to payment processor'.

In theory UK players should get their moeny back eventually I would think but it could be a long wait. Can't help being reminded of BP somehow...

You Euro players might want to rethink not taking your rolls off... the U.S. DOJ didn't just FU U.S. players, you think those companies are going to remain solvent when they have $Billions taken away overnight... nope, the DOJ has killed the big U.S. facing companies... 1000s out of work and millions of players stuck, the EU should get in there and protest.

Ummm sorry to say you HAD a lot of money on Full Tilt just like a lot of us did.

I had cashed out last month so at least I only had a little less than $100 on each site (Poker Stars) and (Full Tilt) so $200.00 lost is not at bad as some others I am sure.

I am in Missouri and was just able to log in. It even let me do a withdraw.

I'm not sure what happens if this all blows over though. What happens to the Take 2 promotion? What happens to Iron Man status? Will I even get my pending withdraw?
